    I wasn't supposed to be in today because my company gave us a holiday today, but yes I'm working.  I worked from home most of the morning, had to go in to do some of my boss' work, and now I'm back at home working again :(

    I'm an accounting clerk (read: I do accounting tasks and various other bitch work but do not have an accounting degree).  I have plenty of work to do, since my company recently went public and we lost one of the two accountants in our department last week.

    Since I'm not supposed to be working today, no I will not be getting out early, even though I'm home.

    And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.     I work at a country club doing event planning.

    I strolled in around noon and will be warming a chair until about 3:30 when I need to start directing the setup for the club party tonight. After that one of my friends here talked me into hostessing the event for a bit since we are short servers so I will probably do that for a while which is good because I like to stay and make sure the event is going well anyway. This means I am definitely not leaving early.

    I'm the product/web manager for an online mailorder business. Technically I have work I could be doing, but I don't think my boss is coming in today, so I don't plan on doing much of it. I'll probably have to stay all day though, so I'm counting on TK to entertain me for the next 7 hours...

    Meaghan, your job sounds fun.

    I'm not being facetious. Planning parties and getting to work at noon sounds great!

    EDIT: I also love those purple flowers with the brown dresses.

    I work for an insurance company as a claims adjuster

    I had work I could have done and was suppose to work all day today but due to me being sick I took it upon myself to leave at 1:00 and go to an urgent care clinic
