Shower Host Gifts

Hello, What did you/will you be giving your shower hosts as a gift? Some people I have talked to said a nice thank you letter or card was sufficient. Any ideas?Thanks

A nice thank you card is needed  and sufficent. I gave mine umbrellas (  in thanks for throwing my shower to help with future showers) who don;t need a new umbrella?

You could always get some bath stuff and say something like, "hope your showers are as good as mine".. you get the idea.  It was on a post a few days back.

I took a really pretty flowering plant.

We did bath stuff for my aunts (but I knew exactly what they liked) and for others, we did a set of Marquis shot glasses that said "cheers" in 6 different lanquages, but they were for the kind of people who would enjoy that kind of gift. Something small but nice to say thank you is always appreciated, I think.

I'm getting pretty little handmade pottery vases. It's nothing expensive just a nice rememberance. Good luck!

I gave my aunt, who hosted my shower, a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates. I also gave chocolates to the other people who helped her plan it.

I have given all of my hostesses those painted wine glasses (you can find at Hallmark or most other gifty stores), either one with their initial or something that fit their personality.
