Ok, I was just looking at the photographer that Expat_Pumpkin used, because I think her pics are goooorgeous and I live in CO (and, coincidentally, worked at the hotel that the wedding mentioned below are from).And he has pics from a wedding with 9 BM's and 17 F'ing groomsmen!!  Seriously?  Who needs that damn many groomsmen?If you're curious: http://jaredwilsonphotography.com/

You'd need some serious wide-angle lens to get everybody in a shot.  That wedding is fricking gorgeous, though.  I'm guessing $35,000...

The wedding was gorgeous, but I really dislike the 12 non-matching in any-way-shape-or-form bridesmaids.  Tie in with color and same material at least!I was guessing more than $35k...

My FI doesn't even want 1 GM.  He'd die if he saw this. FWIW, I don't think there's anything wrong with at all, it just shocked the hell out of me.  That groom is kinda hawt- I dig the grey hair.

Holy moly, that IS a lot of groomsmen!!! I'm guessing they were his frat brothers and he couldn't decide! Jared is a FABULOUS photographer, and also just a really GOOD person. Keep looking at his blog and you'll see the pictures of the baby they just adopted. Adorable!

I saw that E_P.  So cute!  He seems like a great guy.  I'm surprised I haven't run across his stuff before- his pics are amazing.

Really, you can't go wrong with him He has a very quite and unobtrusive nature, too. I got a lot of comments that they didn't even notice he was there... That really helps for impromptu photos. Yes, I realize that I'm plugging a vendor here, but I can't help it

Same with my FI...he only wanted one, I got him to bump it up to 2.  Now I can have my sister AND a friend.

The wedding was gorgeous! And that's awesome that he's got that many guys that he's close to. But I have to say, when you have that many groomsmen, it's just not special anymore to me, for the groom or the groomsmen.

I cut FI off at 10.  I'm sure he would have had at least 17 if I'd let him.

I was one bridesmaid out of 12 once.  The sides were even.  My friend had to have even sides so was asking random cousins into the bridal party to keep up with her husband's 12 soccer buddies.

Crazy # of GM...gorgeous wedding...and depending on the number of guests I'm thinking much closer to 75k!

Not that it makes much of a difference, but some of them could have been ushers, meaning there were just 17 "guys" total   Our ushers were in most of the pictures with the rest of the b party and wore the same thing, so they looked just like groomsmen.
