Short Hair Brides: help!

Re: Short Hair Brides: help!

  • Thank god my wedding is not a family reunion. :) It's in Weddington, and none of them are invited.
  • I really like the last pic in the OP with the jewelled headband.  I also really like the ribbon headband with the brooch on it (2nd to last) but there is a chance it might be a bit matchy matchy with the sash and brooch on your dress.
  • Very true, pc4rc. I think I'm going to convert this 1950s rhinestone choker into a headband that looks kind of like the last pic. I'll sleep the night before with some pin curls in and muck it all up the next morning, throw my trash to treasure headband in, and be ready to marry my man! :)
  • I can't wait to see pics - you're going to have some seriously good wedding porn!  Side note: I wish I could do something, anything at all, with my hair without professional help.  I'm totally incompetent no matter what length I have it.
  • I cut mine all the time. Like, OCD all the time. But I get more compliments when I cut it myself. No one ever wants to go super choppy and messy. I hate that! I told my hairstylist when I scheduled my appt that if she doesn't chop theshit out of it I'm never coming back. My hair is so thick and grow so quickly that you truly cannot mess it up. I once accidentally dyed it Wonder Woman blue/black, and had to have it cut off to 1/2" all over. I had a Julius Caesar cut. And I loved it! Of course, I weighed 100lbs., so I'd never attempt that now for fear of lookingn like a tick!
