I'm late J&K. Go ahead and send the thank you now.For what it's worth though, I get annoyed by thank yous and they don't tend to make a bit of difference to me. It's just one more thing to put in your application file. :)What I'm trying to say is, it's a really nice gesture, but don't stress about it too much!

Well thanks for the (late) help Vogt!  I do so love to hear from you ;)It seemed like I have a good chance, so I figure at the very least it won't hurt me, and heck if it gives me a little edge over someone else, then great!
