Well, that's a long story. It was a tiffany charm bracelet with charms. The boxes were numbered in the order I needed to open them, and they all had cards on them. the first one was a snowflake: the card said something about how our first date was in a snowstorm and how beautiful I looked in the snow and how he knew we'd be married. The second one was a ducky. On the first night he stayed over, he left early to go to work. When I went into the shower, he had put a gigantic rubber ducky in the bathtub that said, "I'm going quakers for you." That was the same morning he put a card on my car that said "We think he's good for you. love, Howie and Lyla" (my cats)The third was a taxi cab. On our first trip to the cities we went to a vikings game and went out downtown afterward. We went to leave and just walk to get a cab, and we didn't see one, and it was getting to the point where we're like uh...we don't know where we are. He took me and hugged me and said, when good things like you and I exist, you have to believe that good things can happen. and seriously, a taxi cab came. It was awesome.Fourth was a heart with diamonds in it. BEcause they are forever, and so are we.The fifth was a charm that said Marry Me. The card said something like meet me at melvin's at 1:00. I love you. Let's spend forever together.Also, he had flowers delivered to my mom's house. Gerbera daisies and the card said "everything's coming up daisies since I've met you." He sent these because the week after we started dating, I went to vegas with my friends. He somehow figured out where I was staying and sent me flowers IN LAS VEGAS. Gerbera daises. The card said "everything's coming up daisies since I've met you."See, told you it was long.

Fishy- so freaking cute. My Dh did that almost samething. I got a gift and a note for the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding. Each day was numbered like day 6 I got a six pack of my fav beer, day 3,I got a necklace with 3 rings, day 12 I got a dozen of my fav.flowers,etc.

E, are you still on? ---- The proposal was a complete surprise. He took me to our favorite dance club while they were closed. A table was set up on the dance floor where we met. Yadda yadda yadda... still thought it was just part of the birthday present, then BAM, down on one knee. I said yes, then I had to run into the bathroon and fix the false lashes. He threw a vip birthday party that night at the club where all our friends were surprised to find out it was also an engagement party.
