There are a lot better canadian artists than that! I listen to a radiostation based in toronto - edge102 - they play awesome music. City & Color, Alexisonfire, the arkelles, metric, billy talent, to name a few.

I spent about 15 years of my career trading for Canadian pension funds, banks and investment companies.  Every other week, it was 2 days in Canada.  Montreal, Ottowa, Toronto or Vancouver.I found fabulous restaurants in Montreal and Hull, Quebec as well as Victoria Island.  Toronto has it great restaurants as does any city but the day to day food is pretty much like US.  Other than their fantastic hot dog stands down by the lake!

lanner - I grew up in Los Angeles, and all we learned about Canada is that it is a country north of the US. No identification of provinces, nor any history. Kinda sad in hindsight.

I can kind of understand not being taught specifics in the school system.  However, I find it odd that people just aren't curious enough to learn on their own about the country right next door.  Maybe it's because I love maps and traveling, but it just seems so odd to me.
