My new initials will be RAW. Ahhhhh yeah.Noice! Mine will be LMD. I think since my first name ends in the "e" sound that it will sound funny with Dudley.
Mudley Dudley--you name is not going to rhyme. It will sound really cute, which you can definitely pull off. It will fit your adorableness.Yessuh! I definitely using Mudley Dudley now.
I think I'm like GG. I can't make it pretty enough to match my first name. It's too stinkin' short. And to whoever gave me the cursive lessons - that's exactly what I do, but it doesn't flow right (because you have to double back over the straight line.) Grr. And I had to initial something today, and realized that my intials are now JV. There is no quick or pretty way to initial something JV. Lanners - my siggy and my writing are exactly the same. I only have a fancy siggy for when I used to sign donation letters and such, and it was even more legible than my regular one.
I could definitely do JV quickly. I wish I could show you. I guess I write my Js differently than you do, but mine end at the top and go right into a V.

Thought of how I can describe it... It's like a lower case cursive J kind of and then the tail on the top just flows into the top left corner of the V. I obviously don't dot the J. Does that make sense?

When I write a J for an intial, I write it almost like I'm printing a capital J, and then I just sort of loop the end back across the J. With the M, I looped it to the bottom of the M and kept going. Now I have to figure out how to loop it up.When I'm writing out my full name, I write like a proper cursive J. Don't ask me why I change it up, but I do.
People tell me all the time I write like an old lady, with tons of flourishes and tiny, neat handwriting. They ask if it takes me forever to write anything so neatly, but I actually write (and type) more quickly than most people. I have to, or I'll forget my thought and my ADD will kick in and sentences will begin about handwriting and end about photo frames. Which I bought today for my wedding tree!
Yes, that makes sense, and works. I just have to get in the habit of doing it! Now, if you can figure out a pretty way to get from a g to a t in cursive, that would be awesome. My first name is pretty darn gorgeous when I sign it, so you've got your work cut out for you
Mine will be LMD.I think I've guessed yours, and I agree - cute, not rhymey. In fact, with that name you could probably run for office, or at least be a tv personality.
I'm ridiculously proud of my handwriting. I think it's perfect. I'm going from a sort of weird last name, to a totally normal one. So I looooove my new signature.
Now you all have me practicing, and I have realized that I am so not a fan of a lowercase z in cursive. I like it by itself, but within my new last name (after an s, ugh) it is awful.I also hate cursive lowercase s.
My handwiriting is crap, but now that you mention it, my soon-to-be new last name sounds ok, but doesnt get written as fast as the old one. And I sign documents all day long.. this is going to be difficult. I had better start practicing!
I only sign things with my first name like Cher or Madonna. I don't care much for my cursive, but I'm very particular about my printing. My handwriting is legible to the extreme.
I'm late to this but I went form 3 letters to 11. and the 11 seems like it's all vowels. Still not used to it. For one of our invites, i had to make a cursive capital Z. i don't thinkI'd done one of those since the 3rd grade. I had to look it up on line.

Ugh, I hate cursive (and I'm terrible at it). Remember when you learned cursive, and the teacher was like, make sure you're good at this, soon you'll have to write EVERYTHING you do in cursive? So glad she was wrong about that.
