I love my mom, I really do.  But lately she just thinks I'm a huge biitch because I don't LOVE every awful (or rude, or insulting) wedding thing she wants.  And because I don't answer her calls every day.  But we go up there two weeks ago, drive 8 hours, and we get there, and what does she want to do?  Not catch up, not have a nice dinner together, but "Can you fix my iPod?"  AAAACK.I wish she would date again.  Sigh.

Brie, I totally understand the wedding thing. My mom cried when I told her I didn't like the photobooth idea. I had to explain that she knows my friends and we wouldn't have cute pictures, we'd have pictures of their genitals.DED.I totally called my mom out in front of our florist.  Florist mentions she'll stick around the reception to take the vases home at the end, but she will wrap the flowers up and give them to guests.  My mom goes, "Oh, we'll give them all to Aunt A and Aunt B!" (her sisters)  I'm like, "Uh, well, I have several other aunts, and FI has a lot too, so we should give some to all of the aunts then."  She then pouted and threw a fit.  I then got REALLY mad and was like, "Hey, FI's AWESOME aunt has cancer.  You want to take flowers from someone with cancer?"  She shut up then.Also, she acts like I'm killing small children because we don't want a Jesus-style head table or bouquet/garter toss or white wedding cake.  It's infuriating.  And she is SO passive-aggressive, I'll never win.

oh dear.  My mom never had a fit like that.  She just forgot it wasn't her wedding a couple times.We had the 2 year engagement and my dad had to tell her a couple times to calm down, its literally all she would talk about.
