Deferring student loans

Calypso- I wish there was somewhere else I could cut expenses, but I really can't.  My car is paid off, I don't pay rent, we're having a cheapo wedding pretty much fully paid for by my parents... but I have 2 rather expensive credit card payments to make every month   That's what's really killing me.

yeah, the cards will kill you. i'd do what others suggested, see if you can get on a different payment plan.  that's probably your best bet.

I just filled out the request for a different payment plan, so we'll see what happens.  I'm sure I can pay more a year or two from now, but they just cut our pay at work, so... blech. Thanks again for the advice, all

yeah, the 2nd job is a good idea.  i've had 2 jobs at many points in my life.  my 2nd job paid for most of my wedding, and also helped us get our house, etc.  the best 2nd job (and easiest) i ever had was at a grocery store.  cashiering is easy, adn we got the discount on our groceries.
