What weird rituals do you have?

When I'm reading a book I always check what page I'm on to figure out if I'm a 1/6th of the way through, 1/3rd or whatever.

I also have a shower ritual!  It's the same order every time or I'll forget something crucial like armpit shaving.  (and a pale gal with dark hair and unshaved underarms can be VERY ugly).When I make a shopping list, I list the items by the layout of the grocery store.  I get frustrated when I list orange juice between parsley and pasta...and it throws me out of whack too!Our morning ritual consists of me getting up, checking TK and then I must use the bathroom and brush my teeth before showering.  Once I'm out and lotioned up, I go to our bedroom and DH and I have 'head petting time'.  I run my fingers hair for a few minutes until he *has* to get out of bed.If I'm still drying my hair when he leaves for work (a VERY common occurrence) then he comes back up the stairs to kiss me before going to work.  Aww.  Talking about this just put a smile on my face.  :-D

We always say I love you before bed and before leaving for work.I always brush my teeth with hot water. Before I shower.

When FI gets out of bed, I roll over and sleep on his pillow, every morning.That's FI.  To a T.  He can't NOT do it.

Mag, I just liked sleeping with Eeyore, and it did help my neck from being sore. DH thought it was funny and I've always had something to "cuddle" (DH cuddles me) to keep my shoulders aligned. I've always done this.Apparently, in my drunken state Saturday, I was snoring WAY big time. When DH woke me, I told him "let me get my Eeyore - not the dolphin, but Eeyore, he'll stop me from snoring."  I realized what I was doing was shoving him under my jaw and it kept me from sleeping mouth agape.  I go to sleep on my back with that heated thing on my head. I turn over on my side when DH comes to bed so he can cuddle me.And, I'm almost 42....... haha!

I absolutely cannot backtrack either.  I will even put off errands until another day if I have to backtrack to do them.  FI thinks I'm nuts.

In the shower: shampoo, (shave legs if applicable), conditioner, (shave anything else as necessary), wash body, rinse conditioner, wash face. In that order, religiously, every time. In the morning, BF gets up, leaves the room, comes back and announces he's turning the light on so I hide under the covers, he gets dressed, turns the light off, then comes and leans over me to give me a kiss goodbye, and I tell him to have fun at work.
