    My paternal grandmother claims we are related to Herbert Hoover, but she also lies a lot. She also claims she was adopted and her real dad is an Australian multi millionaire. Who knows. I do know that she looks more part black or Latin than the German she claims to be. My aunt was the first female police officer in Kalamazoo! That I do know. And my Grandma was valedictorian of her college class while obtaining her masters. And I think that is very very cool.

    Absolutely nothing.  My grandparents and great grandparents were dirt poor immigrants from south eastern Europe.  Huzzah for the land of opportunity!

    hmm lets see.... Hanna Barbera (the cartoon person) is my cousin's cousin....I'm not totally sure of the whole story behind this but when my family went to Italy we went to a particular town where the people treated us like ROYALTY once they heard our last name... so for some reason we are important there (I have some second cousins over there as well but they're in Rome for the most part )
