He hasn't tried to make any yet since the grapes are still pretty young, but that's definitely coming down the line eventually. At least Missouri is a pretty good wine region. Fun fact: it used to be the largest wine producing area in the country. Go figure.

Great! He should be able to star next year. I think it's 3rd leaf when they are able to be produce. (I could totally be wrong though) How exciting!It's an awesome community here too. Definitely run into some snobs, but most people I've meet are really down to earth. I'm in CA, btw.

Mine's not so much of a mystery - it's my first name and my birthdate. It's something I've been using for quite some time, and when I first signed up for the Knot, I didn't realize that I would be posting in the forums, so I used it here too. After I started posting I quickly regretted it especially with the number of Sarahs here, but I didn't want to change my name and lose my post count. So here I am with my unoriginal name.

Nugget, your username always reminds me of Funkadelic. I don't know if you're into George Clinton or Parliament Funk and all the other names they've called the same band.  But my favorite album by Funkadelic is called (this is gross and the t ending and brain part are the only reasons I think this) Maggot Brain.

Miss- FI doesn't have his own label yet. He's an enologist for a boutique winery in the cayucos/cambria area.I kinda feel like a douche for not saying the name, but I'm not sure how comfortable he would be with me posting it.

ok cool. haha. i COMPLETELY understand. i am a stranger. i used to work for addamo (out of the santa maria valley.) i've since changed professions, but still work part time at a wine store/restaurant in the santa ynez valley. your fi must have so much fun at work!

Thanks for understanding. Obviously not personal, and FWIW I'm generally paranoid of technology.Anywho, I believe I've actually tried addamo before. The name sounds familiar but I'm not positive. What are some of your fave wines of CA?FI does love it. He's so passionate it amazes me sometimes.

i really love flying goat pinot noir (dierberg vineyard), curran grenache blanc, tally pinot noir, melville pinot noir, brander sauvignon blanc. i actually don't drink much at all, i just kind of fell into wine related jobs living in the area. i don't know much about the wine north of here except the well known ones like cakebread chardonnay from napa & stuff like that.
