I had Burger King french toast sticks this morning, which I LOVE and haven't had in ages.  I scarfed them down soooo fast.  Definitely a nice start to the day.

I'm moping around the office because Jef went back to Calgary yesterday and I have a week's worth of work to catch up on and I'm really super hungry but I have this pathological need to be a size 8 before the wedding.

Well, I got to turn in another Absconder from Parole today. And this one was serious enough that we kept him in the office and called the police to come pick him up here. So I got to watch a guy lose all the color in his face right before he got arrested. That was interesting.

We have the first disc of Season 3 of Dexter to watch tonight.  That's about all I've got.

We might go to the orchard this weekend for the sole purpose of me being able to buy awesome candy apples.

Welllll...today I am working. But the cleaning lady is currently at my house, and she cooks, which means I don't have to tonight. That's good enough for me.

AND this weekend a friend is coming to visit! I don't actually know her in person yet, but she and another friend of mine (my wedding photog/Chile BFF) and I all read each other's blog and e-mail, and I basically cannot wait to finally meet her. So the three of us will be hanging out all weekend, wandering around Santiago and eating and drinking. I can't wait.

I'm also obsessed with checking on the miners' progress down in Chile.  OVER HALF WAY THERE!

I'm probably not much help. I'm cranky too. I couldn't sleep last night, which actually turned out to be a good thing because I was able to hear the hissing noise the hose from my washing machine to the water line started making at 1:30 AM. Which meant I could minimize the damage cuased by the steaming hot stream of water coming out the hose and all over the goddamn laundry room.

There's mold in the extra bathroom from a leak in the AC that the landlords straight up told me wasn't worth it for them to fix and I think the mold is making me have sinus problems. Awesome.

I'm sending out invites this week and I gave FI a list of addresses to get for me last week. Of course, I have exactly none of the addresses he was supposed to get, and I have to hound the shiit out of him to do it, which makes me the big bad bridezilla biitch.

I was going to go look at BM dresses with one of my girls, but I got called in to work my 8th straight day because someone got sick.  So insted of having a girl's day, I get to sit behind a desk and keep this place safe.

H and I are taking a long weekend and having a mini vacation, so I'm pretty excited about that.

But he went to the doctor today, and we found out he's pre-diabetic, so it looks like our diet that we've been half-assing needs to become serious and permanent.  Hopefully that will be enough, and he won't have to start taking any medication.

Oh right, that too: the miners are being rescued! I'm really excited, but I'm tired and have a feeling I'm going to stay up late tonight to watch the last one get rescued depending on how late it goes.

I finally got off my lazy ass and walked for half an hour during lunch, then, because I didn't make myself a sammich this morning, I had yogurt for lunch. I'm thinking that by 4:00 or so, I'll be looking for people to punch. Or I might just get a candy bar at 3:00. Who knows?

Thanks Emily :) We signed the lease with an option to purchase the house, and I'm really glad we didn't because there are some problems that have only made themselves known in the last three months or so. Thank god we're not stuck with it.

I'm kinda of a crank pot today too but for no real reason except that my make-up person is DB and I hate her lol.  Now that I sound like a five year-old...  She hasn't returned any of my calls or emails in the last 4 weeks including one that said if she didn't need the money she would make from our wedding to please let me know so that I can make other arrangements.  So, now I'm trying to find a new person.  Blah.  Not too big of a deal as far as things go for the wedding, I just really hate poor customer service in general.

BUT tomorrow is my Friday because this is UF's homecoming so the university shuts down woo!  And Saturday is what I hope to be my final dress fitting and we are placing the alcohol order.  So ready for the weekend!

Oh! And one of the guys in the office (well, lots of guys in the office) brings in his dog, Kiko, and she is the sweetest pit bull/boxer mix in the world and she LARVES me. He is not allowed to go straight to his desk in the morning because she will literally drag him to my desk first for morning loves and pets. Hee! It always makes me feel good when she comes over to say hello to me.

Today one of the idiot brokers I worked for asked me a question about the printer (how to print in color).  I told him and then he goes "Well...can you just do it for me?" 

Then another one comes over and asks "Can we scan on this printer?" and I said yes and then he hands me the papers and I said, "Oh, you meant can I scan on this printer?"  and he said, "Well, I don't know how" and just walked away.

These guys are fucking useless.
