I infer a lot about an individual's personality based on 2 seemingly minute details:

What's your favorite alcoholic drink? Not having one is also a valid answer.
(I was a bartender for a long time, and I can match drinks with personalities pretty well, and also get some insight as to what type of person you are based on your alcohol preferences.)

What kind of watch you wear. Not wearing a watch is also a valid answer.

1) I will usually have a tall Bud Light -- Tap. Or a bacardi diet with a lime. Or for dinner with the husband, we'll have red wine. That's really about the only three things I order ever to drink.

2) I don't wear a watch. I carry a cell phone.

For the last who knows how long, my drink of choice has been Captain and Diet.  Before that it was flavored vodka (usually raspberry) and Diet Coke.  Those are my go-to drinks.  If I drink beer and have my choice, it's cider (Woodchuck or Hornsbys) or Blue Moon.

I don't wear a watch.

     If I'm out at a bar, Bud Light or Bud Select if they have it. At dinner, white wine, preferably riesling

Fishy, the Bud Light says to me that you're a pretty laid back person. Bud Light drinkers aren't usually high maintanence bar patrons, which I like. I find that people who don't wear watches often don't know what time it is

2. A tiny long narrow faced watch (1.25" x .25") with a 3/8" slim black leather band. It's not vintage, but it looks it and I love it.

Pinot Noir, unless I'm at a place where you don't want to order wine. Then I usually get a hefeweizen or vodka tonic.

iPhone, which is a valid answer only because I got crafty and made it into a legit watch with a hot glue gun and an old slap bracelet.

1.  Depends on my mood.  White wine,  7 & 7, or good vodka.  But I'm not a huge drinker anymore.

2.  Don't wear one.

1.  Beer, like Stella, Blue Moon, or Victory Whirlwind.  Oooh, or Magic Hat, or Woodchuck every once in a while.  Although I can chug Miller Lite/Bud Light with the best of 'em.**

2.  Fossil.

**EDIT:  Or a good mimosa.  Nothing says vacation with friends like waking up to cheap champagne with a splash of orange juice.

Haha at Dirty Shirley. And Cengle, a deep love of Champagne is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. I quit trying to find a reason to drink Champagne long ago. I lurves it as well.

Answering my own poll:
I don't have a favorite drink. I likes it all, except Scotch. This means nothing except that I like booze more than is probably good for me.

My parents gave me a really nice watch when I was 12, and I still have it and wear it. FI gave me a really awesome blingy Michael Kors watch a while back and I'm currently stuck on it for everyday wear. A person's watch, or lack thereof, is one of the first superficial details I notice.

Favorite drink: Amstel Light or pinot grigio (depending on the type of place and the temperature outside)

Watch is a Movado (gift from J on our first Valentine's Day), Baby-G on Fridays, weekends, and whenever I don't have to do the office/suit attire thing.

*I can't NOT wear a watch - I think I'd staple a watch to my forehead if I lost my wrists.

It's my favorite at the moment. It's tasty like candy without the super sweetness of schnapps.  I'm a martini fan from way back.

My favorite drink to get at a bar is probably a cherry vodka sour. I don't wear a watch regularly.

Capt coke is my favorite standby never fails drink.  But I like trying new things too when we go to a bar that has a more extensive repertoire (sp?).
