Tide, I flamed you in that FFF. Looking back (like, the next day), I realized you weren't being bitchy, but you had the bitchiest post in that thread. It rubbed me the wrong way, and I don't know why.

I've become a goddamn drifter. I try to post a lot on TN but I feel like those ladies don't really find my sense of humor at all appealing, so I have to be more serious and I f*cking hate being serious.
If I wanted to hear the pitter-patter of little feet, I'd put shoes on the cat.

You are NOT as awesome on TN, Nuggs. They don't know what they're missing. I can't even post on there unless I have a legit question. There's NO getting into some of those groups.

I have a tendency to try to be nice until I just can't stand it anymore. Even then, I can't come out and call someone a cvnt. I have no objection when other people do it, though.

That's been something that I've had to learn to bite back on with working with kids and their families. Parents and grandparents are always trying to tell kids that they're lucky, that whatever landed them in the hospital could have been worse...just let them feel what they're feeling, ya know? To a 16 year old, being told your broken leg is going to keep you out of football is a pretty shitty pill to swallow. Posted by Jill9288[/QUOTE]
Exactly. Just like when I was working with kids and they'd say "MY MOM DOESN'T LOVE ME!" I had to learn not to say "Of course she does!" No, this kid feels like her mom doesn't love her, and if I say "yes she does" then I'm saying "your feelings are WRONG." That's not helpful.
Please. Lets DO have another conversation about Nikki's choosen method of expelling her dead ute.

For the record, I'm not down with calling people cvnts. Just calling people out for being dumb, fake, bullshiters.

I am not a fan of TN. I've posted there more recently, but I feel like no one wants to play with me, which doesn't make me want to post more. I also recognize the fact that I'm new to them, which makes their behavior rational, but it still gives me the sads.
I know, it doesn't make sense.
OH! I would love to see Mica flame someone. She's been mod for nearly as long as I've been here, and I want to see her let loose. I am so looking forward to Birdie's first day as non-mod. I bet she has a lot to get off her chest.

I think I've navigated more strongly to Money Matters because they seem to be, I dunno....more welcoming of newbs? I'm assuming because of the high number of people who roll in with money questions. And TIP because those heifers are f*cking hilarious.
