Well, she's in another state, so not someone I see regularly, but she's a person I could message or call out of the blue and it wouldn't seem too weird.  I knew she had gone back into treatment, but had no idea it was related to the show until she mentioned it recently.  I just saw the preview for it today.

When the real estate agent first showed us, her words were, 'this one is a little bit weird'. It was totally amazing and just what we wanted- a big oversized tree house! We have some grand plans for kitchen renovations (may happen next year) and after that, bathroom and upstairs flooring modernisation. Oh, we are also trying to figure out how to cool it more effectively, too, given the huge ceilings. We do adore it though.</p>

I'm enjoying the weather forecast that has caused MIL to call and cancel Christmas at her house.  Looks like Cory and I will be delightfully alone for Christmas eve.

I'm here.  Just got home from a Christmas party.  Very proud of both DH and I for not punching this stupid girl who was there.  I can't believe I have to go to work tomorrow and work late.  I'm already in vacay mode.

DH and I both were not big Hangover fans.  I think it was hyped up too much before we saw it.

It's so very 70's (even though the house was built in the 80's, the woman who lived here was very bizarre and clearly had no desire to update anything) in some ways, thus the kitchen renovation plans etc, but we adore it. I love the big open space with all of the light and windows everywhere. Yay for our crazy house! haha.

She's this obnoxious friend of our friend who had the party and she just has to be the center of attention at ALL times.  Even worse, she was being mean to this other friend who has had a horrible, horrible past year and basically making fun of/putting down this girl for all she's been through (which includes escaping from an abusive husband in Ireland -- not something someone needs to be put down for).  DH and I were basically openly rude to her because of this and she still didn't catch on that she was being inappropriate.

Anna, not too bad.  We finally got internet at the apt, so life is improving.  Got H's Christmas present yesterday, so we are all set for our first Xmas together.

Just looking for a recipe for Pain Perdu that doesn't have booze in it.  Am NOT buying a full bottle of orange liquer just to use two TBLS.

There's still talk.  I hung out with LVB today.  My job keeps yanking me around about whether they're 1) having the national meeting in January, 2) if I'm supposed to go, 3) when it's going to be, and 4) where.  So.  I'm having trouble committing to a weekend right now, as I don't know what timezone I'll be in.  Bah, humbug. 

I'm not working tomorrow, though, so I'll see if I can do some good research on a weekend or two NOT in question & post some info on it.
