Unity ideas?

My fiance and I have decided that unless we can find something more original than the unity candle or sand, we will not do anything like that.Does anyone know of any other unifying ceremony ideas? I've heard of giving everyone in the crowd candles, but knowing my cousins that would be a disaster....Any unique ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

Since our ceremony is outside, we are doing a dove release.  Watch them fly away together.. .. then we are releasing 5 more about 5 seconds after and those doves represent the family members who passed away..
