Cengle, thanks for the rec!  I stopped going to ff.net because it would lead to malware, which led to my computer crashing.  Does that not happen to you?  Who is the author of that?  I am soooo tempted to click on it.  What's the pairing?


ETA: Embry!  Love him.  My OTP is Jacob/Leah though.  She got really got shafted in the books.

The only reason I knew about the website was because you posted it here a long time ago.  And now I have a friend from hs who sends me links when she finds good stories.
I like the wolf stories because there's so much that S.M. didn't touch in the books about them.

Try using twilighted.net or thewriterscoffeeshop.com instead :) I've never had issues with ff.net though, weird. I've been using it for years and other than the fequent schittiness of the site not working, (knock on wood) I haven't had a problem.

I do twilighted.net now.  I will try the other one as well.  I can look at ff.net on my Kindle so I do that sometimes.  It sucks though because so many more people post on ff.  I do livejournal as well.  I'm cranberry117 on ff if you want to check out my saved stories.  They're mostly TeamWolf, but I have some vamp ones there too I think.

FWIW, my younger sister loves fanfiction too but had to stop going to ff.net after the third time I had to reformat her computer due to their ads giving her horrible viruses.  So you aren't the only one.

Cranberry: there are a lot of things going on in that story.  The main pairing is Embry, but there's a great Paul story in there too.  Add some Jacob in for drama as well.  I really like that story. She's on book 3 of the Imprint Chronicles, and it's probably my favorite wolf story so far.

Yeah, that's pretty much what happened to me.  My computer is updated with Norton antivirus, and I run the antimalware program recommended by my work.  I can't remember the name right now.  Do you have any other suggestions?  It sucks that I had to stop going there.

Can you adblock it? I never get ads on ff.net so maybe that's why I haven't had an issue?

And is it sad that I just turned 40 yet most of the stuff on my Christmas lists is all Harry Potter & Twilight related? Books, movies. I mean, seriously, besides wine, what else do I need? I have had all the Star Wars stuff (lightsaber included) for years, we already have a ton of stuff (decor, trinkets etc) we've accumulated for the house, we have a well-stocked kitchen thanks to our wedding guests, so seriously, there's not much I need but things to entertain myself, and I like movies and books.

And Target has a boxed set of the first 6 Harry Potter movies. I've told H I NEEEEED. So I think he got the point, and I will be getting it.
