Morning!

Re: Morning!

  • I have an IUD and while it did hurt for a few days, and hurt for a bit during my first period, I love it now. I'm sooo happy that I have it and it's so much cheaper than everything else.

[QUOTE]How did your cat teach himself to use the toilet?  If we could get a cat who'd do that, I'd get a cat in a heartbeat. Aren't IUDs more painful for people who haven't had a kid yet since the cervical os is still very small? Charting is free!  And a bunch of us have done it for months/years without oopsies.

My BC is free now :)  I'm pretty sure I could get the IUD for free as well, but I'm not positive about that.

  • Okay, after that crazy cindy chick who wouldn't let go of the attire thing in the black tie thread, I had to go to NJ and see what was going on (I'm a sucker for drama when I'm bored).  She posted a new little gem.

I like the part of how she wouldn't DARE post it on E ;)

  • I am worried about cramps bc I do remember having some bad ones every once in awhile (sweaty, dizzy, etc) but maybe they won't come back like that.

  • Gah so I just got a delightful text message, I am supposed to be MOH in a wedding in October of 2013, "Hey so we need to go and try on your dress for the wedding? Let me know of your first free weekend" It's over a year away! What was I thinking when I agreed to be in this wedding?

  • That's almost two years away! We went 2 months ago to try on dresses for my BMs
  • My IUD was free. Aleigh - that is one reason I am trying the IUD out

Yes ma'am I meant 2013! She was supposed to get married in April of 2012 but they postponed to October 2013, well she said it's a tentative date that if they can plan everything before then they will move the wedding up. None of it makes any sense to me.

I know! Mine just tried theirs on, two of them wanted to hurry and get them ordered while they had the money. I am probably going with the other two in a month or so.

  • I had really bad endometriosis, and my GYN tried lots of different things. He finally suggested the IUD (I have the Mirena one), and I haven't had a period in nearly five years. I also only get cramps about three times a year, which is way better than daily excruciating pain.

The insertion hurt like hell for the rest of the day, and I had some cramping the next day. After that, it was wonderful. I'm getting a new one in May.
  • Hi everyone! Today is my Friday! YES!  As far as birth control, I take the pill and have for a couple of years. I don't plan on going off for a looooooooooong time.
  • I have the IUD also, discomfort putting in, but no periods since, going on three years.  I absolutely love it.  But then I have had two children.  My daughter (age 20) was having problems with the BC pills and our gyn suggested the IUD for her, she is a super, BIG baby.  She loves it too and said it wasn't too bad to have put in.  Again, I repeat, she is a big baby, won't take medicine unless I sat on her!

[QUOTE]Midge, what are you reading? I'm hoping that's why you'll cry?

I think she's still reading the Hunger Games trilogy (Don't recall which book she was on).

Yeah, I'm reading Catching Fire. It's so good but so extremely emotional and sad!
  • HUNGER GAMES!

I'm just finishing the mockingjay.  I was bored so I re-read the series.

    Are you addicted yet, Midge?

Team Peeta or Team Gale?  Answer wisely.
