In Response to Re: I know you're out there... : I was most definitely not ignoring you!  What weekend you going to be here?
    Posted by kellyjellybelly
The weekend of June 18. My friend and I are going to the NKOTBSB concert. :)
And getting pizza. Because Chicago pizza is WAY better than St. Louis pizza.
OK, well, my FI and I have known each other about 10 years and have been a couple for 3 years.  We got engaged this past fall, but I have only just started the planning process because I am feeling a little overwhelmed by it all.  I'm an office manager/receptionist, and he's an ex-military man going to school to become a science teacher.

<div>Aww, don't feel overwhelmed. My thinking was if you get the officiant then you've got the marriage part taken care of, and as long as you've got a venue, food/booze and music, there's your party. All the other stuff is just extras.</div>

<div>Exactly.  That's the important stuff.  Everything else is just the extras.  Our important things were obviously the ceremony itself, then th reception venue, food, and booze.  That's all the guests care about too.  The rest is just extra and small details.  </div>

  • I do not like Imo's Pizza. At all.

Sorry Doc. Although I am not a Native St. Louisan, so I'm allowed a pass :)
  • If I didn't have a headache, I definitely would be having some alcohol right now.

I got really drunk 2 weekends ago when we went home. But I was proud of myself b/c it was the most I have ever drank (even more than my bachelorette party) and I held my liquor. Even though there were a few times I wasn't so sure.
In Response to Re: I know you're out there... : Hahaha, yeah, I'm not concerned.  Just more of a "Really?  REALLY?" moment.  The concourse that had the roof taken off only services American Airlines, and I'm not sure that anyone is even flying in on American.  Unless a tornado takes out something that matters more, like my wedding venues or my parents' house.  Then my feathers will be ruffled!

It's akin to deep dish, while St. Louis style pizza is thin crispy crust.

  • Doc....I love the Cardinals, toasted ravioli, and the City Museum. Friends on?
  • I also love facials.  More than massages.  True story.

Missy, take some Ibuprofen and have a drink.  They mix fine together.  Acetominophen on the other hand, that's a no go.  I've been on a steady ibuprofen/vodka diet since my dentist appointment yesterday.

It is a deep dish full of deliciousness.

Whereas Imo's Pizza (St. Louis' baby) is thin and greasy and uses provel cheese instead of mozzarella. A travesty, I tell you!

Seriously, the first thing I'm eating once I get to Chicago is pizza. I'm planning for a pizza-induced coma.
