Morning, ladies!

Anyone around?  I'm up early today, probably because I drank last night.  It seems I can never sleep late after drinking.  H and I went out for dinner and drinks with some friends, fun times.  Nothing on the docket today except maybe a movie and right now I'm craving Thai food....we'll see what sounds good later.  I am not looking forward to tomorrow being Monday but at least I'm only working 2 days this week and then I'm off for a last-minute trip to Vegas!

I'm up earlier than I should be because I kept waking up with hearbean.  I just finally gave up trying to sleep and fed the dogs.  I'm jealous of your Vegas trip, that sounds like a blast!

Good morning!  I've been up for about an hour now already because I went to bed early.  H's time zones are so off from me now that I didn't bother waiting up for him last night, and I think that was the first time I've been in bed by 11 in I don't even know how long.  

I've got nothing planned for today.  Probably church later and working out at some point.  I'm all about a lazy day today.

I'm always up early.  I'm off to the shore for the (cloudy) day.  My husband and I made big plans for both days this weekend and both days were cloudy and rainy.  Of course, of course.  One activity got shoved to next weekend.

My biggest accomplishment this morning is finally determining that angelsong and angelstar are two different people.  One has the humid rabbit and one has a picture of herself.  I thought angel just liked to change her sig picture.  Ha.

Joy - and ironically, angelstar DOES change her picture, like all the time, which would further add to the confusion.  Enjoy the beach today!

Beachy - yep, just me and H.  By the way, he was in Norfolk last week and is likely going to be there again the week of the 23rd!  Wish I could come with.

Afternoon. I just got out of the shower and am eating lunch. Had a really rough start to the morning with Lucy puking three times, once on the bed, and twice on the floor. So I let her wander out onto the balcony where she proceeded to howl at another dog. I brought her in, and she continued to bark for another half hour. Not loudly, but a little ruff ruff every couple of minutes. A nap is definitely in order for today.

Morning. I went to bed after 12 and I'm still up at 8:30. Ugh. But at least that gives me some time to do things around the house until H gets home. I'm hoping it stays sunny, H is supposed to mow my grandma's yard and I want to go to the pool.

She thinks it's cool to bear mace a dog (repeatedly) because its owners won't keep it from chasing her horses, instead of dealing with in a, you know, rational way.

Abbs it was from yesterday's morning thread, but I didn't hear about it til the evening thread and went back.  Basically Steffi lives in the country and her neighbors let their golden wander the neighborhood.  It chases her horses and chews stuff on her porch, so she sprays the dog with bear mace to scare it away.  Apparently her landlord told her if she called the authorities on the dog they would make her remove her horses that night.  Why the fvck she asked her landlord for permission to call is beyond me.

Haha, sorry for the confusion everyone!  I made this screename back in the dark days of AOL when I was young.  It wasn't until last year that when I gave the name out to someone that they laughed and said, "Nice! That's awesome that's your sn."  Wait, what?  I went home and did a Google search and got a video for Great White for a song called "Angel Song."  If you're bored and need something to laugh at, you can check it out.  So much 80's hair...

abbalish - I always wake up early when I drink, too!  No one else I know is like that.

I'm up to head into work for a few hours.  Trying to decide what I want for breakfast since we have nothing at the apartment.

No :(  Once we got Vegas on the brain we sort of had to make it happen.  I definitely want to go another time, though.

Re Steffi: yikes.  I am guessing she got her asss handed to her for that.  Did she try to defend herself?

Morning! I'm also an early riser on mornings after I drink. I'm an early riser in general but it's just extra annoying those days. 

Steffi tried and tried to defend herself but there's really no coming back from that. I didn't realize LDY was actually going to get lunch with her but I wouldn't be surprised if LDY became super busy today and couldn't meet up.

We could get to a decent beach in about 45 minutes to an hour without crazy traffic. We are going farther away though because we won a silent auction bid on a resort. It's probably 3 hours away.

Good morning! I'm up early too, and this after taking a Tylenol PM last night.  I wish the coffee would hurry up and finish brewing. It seems like the coffee always takes too long when I really need a cup!

I'm studying for an exam today.

I'm going to have to check out the evening thread.  I was too tired yesterday do do much of anything. FI and I had to get up at 4:30 am to drive to San Antonio. His old friend got promoted to General and took command of about 5000 men and women. It was a nice day.

Morning! Today we are planning on going to church, might take a nap, and spending the rest of the day watching movies. It's been so long since the FI and I could just watch movies, summers get way to busy.

So the professor for this weekend class is from and lives in Israel, and just travels here every summer to teach some seminars. He is so cool. Israel sounds like a really interesting place to visit someday. 

You know how people always say that foreigners have a hard time understanding English idioms? Well he was trying to explain a phrase that they say in Israel similar to "when it rains, it pours". It was something like "When it rains, its like a guy diving off a diving board and peeing on you while you are swimming in the pool and he is diving over you."

Yeah.... we had no idea wtf that meant. lol.

Haha Musu, there's stuff like that in Spanish. You know how we say "just pulling your leg"? They say "Just pulling your hair". Although when you think about it, the hair one makes more sense because some people really do pull others hair in a teasing way.

On a different note, in your sig pic is that your bouquet? What all is in it? We have been looking at different ideas for bouquets since I want to have some blues in mine but there really isn't a whole lot of pretty blue flowers.

As soon as H is done changing my flat tire (that was a fun surprise) we're going to head back over to our house to keep on trucking with getting our crap out of there.  Well, he and his friend will keep on trucking.  I'll be rinsing and washing the stuff I tie-dyed yesterday.  Fingers crossed they turn out well!
