• Oh, I have some. I flame psichick for claiming that she's never met a non-obnoxious born-again Christian and refusing to admit that she probably meets born-again Christians  every day of her life but doesn't know that because they're . . . not obnoxious about it.  Also that tiered-wedding person and luckyme.  And possibly zrex for being an alter-ego.

Kate, I was probably a little overboard on lopezk, but I flame you back for thinking I was standing up for the OP when the very next sentence said that the OP was clearly, obviously wrong.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. • Wow, I didn't thinkt hat a one line mention of teabagging would be THAT big of a deal.  It's not like I threw descriptions of ball size or photos in there with it.  I said I was sorry.  Jeez.

I flame Psichick because her name is too close to PysDet for me, whom I actually really like, and whenever she posts she strikes me as overly judgey for bitchy for the topic.

My other flame is sort of general, but I think the cliquey cliquey of the board has gotten to extremes lately.
  • I flame people who flame other people for liking someone's sense of humor. Humor is such a subjective and selective thing, so you're just flaming people for their preferences. It would be like flaming a person for not liking someone else's wedding dress.

Also, I find Cew and Sarah0725 very funny. I agree with whoever said it's all about the timing.

I've been lurking since July and it's always been this bad. In fact I would say that ever since a lot of the regs left, it's gotten less-cliquey.

But I mostly post at night, so that might be why.
I find it humorous that Amoro is complaining about how it's gotten to be so cliquey around here lately, as she is one of the biggest offenders.
    Posted by betrothed123
That's the weird thing about cliques, though, here and elsewhere: the same people who perceive themselves on the outside are perceived by others as being on the inside.  I think there's also a tendency -- at least online -- to mistake prolific for popular.  By this, I mean that people who post often or frequently initiate conversations are perceived as being popular, regardless of whether they actually are or not.

Just an observation; not a flame.

  • In response to the car thing- just wanted to say I did feel bad about it, as I stated in that post.  I was a very immature 21 year old when I did it, and I was so angry that I was seeing red (climbing over a sports cars seats in a suit and nylons will do that to you).  Anyway, I did feel bad and I wouldn't do it again.  (The other car was a POS, too, though).
