  • I'm pretty sure "sanctity of divorce" is an oxymoron.

The State of Texas denied a lesbian couple married in Massachusetts a divorce on the grounds that gay marriage is unconstitutional in Texas.  The state Attorney General said something along the lines of protecting the sanctity of divorce in order to preserve the sanctity of marriage.  The irony of that phrase alone is hilarious.  In a sad sort of way.

  • I just went to the vet, packed a bag and came home and y'all are still talking about the car thing?  I said I felt bad and wouldn't do it again.  I can't go back in time and change what I did.

(Oh, and salt- I wasn't 'fancy' with my sports car- I said sports car to clarify that it was hard to climb over the seats.  It was an OLD, crappy sports car.)

Anyway, I GET IT.  It was bad, I was a jerk TEN YEARS AGO.

yeah, but on my offensive-o-meter, damaging someone's car is about a 9. the poop thing is about a 3.
  • Kiki, really, you shouldn't be surprised.

And was your sports car a POS too? Huh.

  • Kiki - it probably wouldn't have gotten brought back up if you didn't defend yourself in the FFF.  It was going pretty unnoticed until you responded.  Just let a flame be a flame next time.  ;)

Yeah, I shouldn't be surprised.  Yep, it was a POS. It was an '83 somethin' or other that cost $500 (in 2001).  Which is why I didn't care that it damaged my car, too.  (Although I kicked myself later when I'd calmed down)

EDIT: Stacks, I know, I don't know when to shut up- I think we all know that about me. haha.

  • Can we flame family members?

I flame my cousin (whom I never ever see) for inviting me to her baby shower last year (I went happily and was very excited about contributing to her daughter) she was an ungrateful little bitch the whole time, never thanked anyone for coming, or the gifts. Fast forward a year later, the kid's 1st birthday, I get an invitation. What?!?! I havent talked to you in a year and you were very ungrateful last time I saw you, no I am not going to be able to make it to the party. I FB messaged her letting her know I could not make it. Yesterday her status read something along the lines "What the fuuck why cant people RSVP by the date that I kindly underlined on the invitation, am I supposed to assume you are coming and order enough food..UMM NO!!" Furthing confirming the fact that she is indeed a bitch

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.
