He will be 18 in June, lol. He's always been the dramatic one though because he has had the classic middle child complex ever since he could talk. 

My other brother? (Who will be 16 tomorrow) He is so laid back and chill that he just doesn't even care.

Yeah, chum's bouquet is beautiful. Though I looked at a lot of pro's bouquets on etsy after my wedding and was happy that mine looks almost as good for being homemade.

I'm super excited--I came home from work today and Box Kitty was sleeping on TOP of the bed.  She's been hiding under it whenever we've left since we moved in.  Today was the first day I came home and she's not been under it.  That makes me happy :)

If I do go with a brooch bouquet, I'll definitely be buying it on Etsy for a million dollars. I couldn't make it to save my life. It's not even worth the frustration of trying.

When FI moved into his house a few years ago he left me to watch the cat while he cleaned the apartment. I fell asleep and then I couldn't find the cat. I freaked out and was crying hysterically. She had gotten into the bottom of his empty dresser under one the boards you put the drawers on. It took us awhile to find her and I was so upset that I had somehow lost his cat. It took her a few days to venture out from her hiding places.

So my CC payment is late. I realize this and I can deal with the late fee. But FFS, its only 4 days late and my CC company is calling me 3 TIMES A DAY.

That's crazy... have you been late before? Back when I had credit card debt, I got behind on a few cards and they didn't start calling until I was at least a few weeks late.

Angel -- Yes, I've been late before but not consistently or anything. Its for $40 freaking dollars too which is silly. Its my really crappy card though, the one with 30% interest that I stupidly opened when I was 16 since i just needed SOME credit. They are terrible. Our other CCs are gonna be late this month too but none of them bother us.

I just got into a HUGE fight with my 19 year old sister. My blood is seriously boiling right now. I was about to get in the shower when she came home from work and she threw a fit, screaming and yelling as though she was possessed, that's how psychotic this meltdown was. Apparently the fact that she smelled like fish from her job means she should get the shower the second she gets home or all hell should break loose. (We have more than 1 shower, but you can't run them at the same time or the water pressure and temp get all messed up.) During this fit, she hit me, pushed me, screamed at me, threatened me, called me names.. it was unbelievable. Of course I yelled back. And then I got in the shower and 5 minutes later, she got into the other one, ruining the water of mine. I got so pissed that I went downstairs and tried to shut off the water on her. I couldn't figure out how to do that, so I tried to just shut off the hot water. When that failed, I went into her room, stole her flat iron and hid it in my room and took satisfaction in the fact that she had to go out looking like crap. Apparently anger brings out my inner 15 year old. I'd like to conclude my rampage of immaturity by kicking her out of my wedding.

Ugh, MuSu, that's so annoying.  CC companies are assholes.  I had one that was due on a Sunday.  I paid it on Friday.  It was 4:30, so it was after 5 Eastern time, so it didn't get processed until Monday, SO IT WAS LATE.  Even though I paid it two days before it was due.

They dropped my limit down to $500 and haven't raised it since.  AND THIS WAS TWO YEARS AGO.  They recently sent me a new card--It was a student card, and I no longer qualify, so they "upgraded" me to a platinum rewards plus.  And didn't raise my limit.

So I have a platinum card with a $500 limit.

That's kind of hilarious. American Express dropped my limit from 5000 to 500 a few years back because my credit was bad. I have great credit now, but they haven't changed it, so I don't really use the card. Capital One randomly increased me from 500 to 6500 so I don't need 2 higher limit cards. I try not to use cards at all anymore, unless I get points and can pay them off right away.

wtf, for one barely late payment? That is crazy pants. I wish my CC only had a $500 limit. We've had several emergencies though, where our larger balance CCs have bailed us out.

That sucks, J!  Once I paid off my CCs last year I chopped them up and tossed them in the trash.  I'm thinking that I should probably get one for emergencies though.

J, have you gotten it up close to the limit before?  I have a low limit card, and every time I run it up to close to the limit, they raise the limit about 100-250$.  It's up to about 2500 now thanks to venue payments.

My CC balances are higher than I'd like due to emergencys. Usually car or pet related. Darn responsibilities.

I can't wait for the day when I can start making more than the min payment on our CCs. Our debt is pretty bad, but we try to keep making regular payments at least, until we can eventually start paying them off when we get jobs. Ugh.

Yeah, my other card raises my limit about every 4-6 months, so I'm fine with that, I just think it's ridiculous.

Guys, I'm in the wrong field.  Our surveyor gets $180 an hour.  To go to people's houses and stick stakes along their property line.  Yes please.

My mother did this to me. In all fairness, they paid my cards off and now I just pay them. It was really awesome of them to do that, because with the interest I was paying, I never would have gotten them paid off. Now I have a little over a year left on the "loan" from my parents and I'll officially be debt free. Well, except for my car loan, but that's acceptable.
