Friday Night

Re: Friday Night

  • I don't know where that is all coming from LDY, but I agree with you, lol.

Erin -- I wanted to drop to the ground and kiss my garage after I moved to this house after a few years of apt living with no garage.

Musu, def the cold. Getting into a car that hot is literally suffocating. The garage protects me from that too. Maybe I can build my own garage at the apartment complex, haha.

  • Oh I believe it, Chrissy. I've only been there a few times but yeah. I think it has like the largest economic disparity of any city in the country? Or something like that.

Chels -- Why does he get the stall just because its a truck?

[QUOTE]Snail did you say you lived in the Bloomington area? Or am I imagining that?  I don't care THAT much about the border battle. But I was born and raised in the twin cities so really I will always think its better there, hah.

Sorry I ran away for a minute. Yes, I live in Bloomington, originally from the NW suburbs but moved down here to be close to my work. I think if I was more into sports I would care more about the border battle, but the only sport I follow at all is baseball and even then it's mostly to check in on the Twins score, not so much that I actually know anything about the sport or the competitors.

Cuz his truck is nicer than my car and worth more. It gets more protection. Honestly it should only be one winter anyway. Hopefully by the following winter we'll have a house and it'll be a moot point.

Although.. this is the first time I've thought of this. His truck has remote start.
Eff this, I get the garage. He can warm is car up without going outside in the morning. I have made a unanimous decision.
  • Can I thread jack for a minute? I'm having serious trouble deciding what color to paint the living room/dining area/ entry way/ hallway. I have a gray couch. Oh please help me.
  • You'll see momentarily, MuSu. I was singing "If you're thinking about being my doggy it don't matter if you're black or white" to Gator. Gator is of the black persuasian.
  • Angel - I had a crappy day at work and am just drained. Was scheduled out at 3:30 and ended up with a manager escalation at 4:00 that didn't get done until 6:00. And, entailed a 45 minute phone call with an irrate person. It was great. And, I get to talk to irrate person again on Monday.

The best part of my day - I'm still drunk from my new meds and I stood up too quick and fell over at one of the 4 managers desks. The other 3 and the VP I work for came running over. I was fine, coherent, landed on my ass, just got woozy when I stood up. They were talking over me, in the third person, discussing what I needed. One wanted to get me water, one a soda, one cookies, one an ambulance, and the voice of reason finally got them to ask me if I was okay. I don't think this medicine is going to work for me. :(

I'm not great at this, but I think shades of brown look good with gray personally. What about like a tan or taupe color?

  • Erin - Grey is pretty neutral.  You can probably go with just about anything.  Do you have any accent colors you're working with or wanting to work with?

Hmm, hopefully FI will take on that viewpoint when we're married :

My new favorite color combination is grey and yellow.  I want something in my house to be grey and yellow but have nothing to paint/style those colors as of yet.  so I recommend this color combo for you

  • I worry that I'm too girly to decorate a house where a man has to live too. My room at home is very pink.

  • I just accidentally sent ldy a good night text instead of J. Bahaha I am such a tool.

  • Haha Musu, that sounds like something I would do. I only have 2 Knotties' numbers though, so luckily I haven't sent any accidental texts yet.

  • I had just watched her video text of singing to gator so she was the last one open on my messages when I went back to text J. This normally wouldn't happen because J and ldys real name are nothing alike, but obviously I wasn't paying attention. So ldy got a really lovey good night from me, complete with xoxos. Honestly she is probably one of the few people I am not that embarassed about that going to, haha.

  • Nope Erin - we are staying team green to the end.

I've almost sent those kinds of texts to my boss a few times. That would have been embarrassing. Especially if they're R rated, haha.

Haha I know Chrissy! But she hasn't responded lol. I'm imagining her laughing pretty good about it though. Funny how I would be mortified if it went to about 98 percent of people I know irl but then not at all to ldy.

  • I once texted a girl I'd only met once instead of H and while it wasn't a lovey dovey text I'd just gotten my first paycheck in Denver and the text had the amount in it.
  • I think LDY will absolutely love it :).
  • Lol loopy, I'm sure she was like wtf? Haha. With that, I am actually gonna head to bed. I have to get up early for a weekend class. Bah. Good night!

  • Good night MuSu.

  • Hello - just got back. Anyone still around?
