Super late to the party, but amen 100% to the idiots that think designing one monogram (which in all honesty was probably ugly anyway because I have never seen a good one on here) makes them a designer. I obviously wasted four years of college, an assload of work, and a lot of money if that's all it takes.

I lol'd a little at Rach being like "no one called him a diick! maybe 'im mad at rich" or "i dont like rich right now" but not a diick." Because I didn't say it, but I can't imagine I'm the only one who actually thought that he sounds like a diick. And "i'm mad at your FI that I've never met right now for they way hes acting" sounds like a nice way of saying "he's a diick." I also thought it was a little funny people blamed jessjo, because the whole situation between Rach and Rich sounds a lot like the one between Jessjo and her H. He treats her like crap and she justifies it, asks for advice then gets defensive when people point out that hes acting shiiitty, and ends it by claiming shes just not telling us the GOOD things about him but its ok because they talked and are working on it.

Nebb whining in the Frankie thread didn't surprise me but it was still pretty annoying. Let it go. No one mailed you poop, you can probably get over it.

I don't read a lot of threads anymore because I'm not around much but I happened to read the sucrets baby names threads and wanted to jump off a bridge. Some of the names suggested, or names people are planning on giving their kids were SO AWFUL.

Dang, its hard to catch up on these things.

I am not backwards fische, I barely have enough time to post as myself anymore.

Now for my contribution- I would like to flame anyone those who told me that my husband is evil and I'm stupid for staying with him and he kicks puppies, etc, but then told Rach that they dont know her relationship with her FI and no one should judge him. I know she also got several "run away FAST", which are annoying and useless, but it seems like a lot more people were admitting that they couldnt know the whole story.
(And this is in no way a flame against Rach, I dont know what it is, but she is growing on me)

And I think sometimes "regs" say things just to disagree with other posters. Ex- "Piper isnt annoying/useless", she may be easily ignored, but still posts useless nothingness.

When H and I were in Copenhagen the other day, we saw a shirt that had the standard Che photo on it, but with the Optimus Prime symbol superimposed over it.  H is on a mission to find that shirt now.

I don't know if we have a kinship--because, to be honest, I never really followed the jessjo drama too closely.

But for fucks sake---I'm not marrying an asshole. <strong>Perhaps he is marrying one</strong>, but I am not. Who's to say that he's the ass, and I am not? Well, you only <em>did</em> get my side of the story---and chances are, my bitchy-ass self (I hadn't had any coffee or food yet, obvi) ran on over to TK to bitch about Rich because I was being a whiney little beebee.

1. I have disliked his sister, and was a huge effing asshole to her the last time she visited--including rolling my eyes in her face because she gave Rich a tiny notebook as a birthday gift and I thought it was lame. No wonder he tries to stick up for her sometimes. I need to get over it.

2. He didn't want me to have surgery. Why? Because surgery is a big fuckin deal. Take a walk in my life for a week and you'll understand why he is sick and tired of seeing giant needles shoved into my bones and skin. My last surgery in April resulted in massive nerve damage--and I can't feel half of my leg. Rich knew diagnosing my illness from my surgery had a 90% chance of not happening, and he was worried I would hate having a fucking gross ass incision on my neck so close to my wedding---Ohmygosh, whatanass!!!

3. He said no to a joint checking account. And that, literally, was the end of our discussion. I didn't ask him to explain. I didn't explain my side. I asked a simple question and he said no. But how the hell is he supposed to know I have concern for something if I don't explain? Rich isn't a mind reader---boy are all you ladies LUCKY if your men are.

If Rich is an ass, so am I. I bitch and moan about stupid shiit because I'm pretty pissed at my life right now....and unfortunately for Rich, he takes the brunt of my crap.

So seriously, get over it. If you still want to think he's an ass--great. But I'm an ass too.

Rach- this is going to sound really stupid coming from me right now but... chill out.  Nobody here really knows you or your FI or your situation, so you shouldn't get too upset about it.  (Easy to say, I know...)  But, you'll feel better if you just let it go.  You know what's right for you better than anyone else.  We're all asses sometimes.

Rach, I'm going to agree that you're taking this too personally.  While I have clearly missed all of the Rich drama, I am sure that anyone who has called him an ass or said anything negative is only doing so out of misguided care for you.  Of course none of us know Rich or his side of anything, so who cares what we think?  We all clearly really like you and think you deserve to be with someone who treats you well.  I consider myself to be the ass in my relationship as well but since I'm the one that is on here I'm sure if I came on and biitched abot my FI in a moment of weakness people would see him as an ass.  FWIW having missed all the drama I am sure all of the health issues you have been facing are really tough on both of you and I commend both of you for being as strong as you can throughout this tough time.
