My cat is such an AW. She climbs up on top of my chest no matter what I'm doing. Give me some space kitty.

At least she doesn't come up and sit on your hands as you are on your computer. My cat used to do that when we both lived at home.  Then I moved into an apartment and she became the only pet (instead of being surrounded by 13 dogs) and now she no longer needs to be an AW because she is tends to always be the center of attention.
In Response to Re: Too early for evening thread? I don't care. : My mom did something similar to me. I lived at home freshman year of college.  The only computer we had at the time was mine (which I paid for myself).  Everyone else liked to use it for games and stuff and frequently interrupted me (it was in my room) to use it.  I got sick of it and password protected it and left a note saying if you wanted to use it, you needed to ask permission.  I came home from babysitting one night to a note on my bed saying that if I expected to control who had access to my computer and when, then I needed to start helping out around the house more.
    Posted by strlzfan11
See, this I don't like at all.  Your computer, your room - I think you had every right to limit access.

  • Oh, I had read that a little bit ago. The bad part is I'm sure someone will read that and think it's a good idea.

Also, I just read the last post which is by zizibet. I think zizibet = Kwills. Is that who you were thinking of earlier in that thread, Muni?

</div><div>I was horrified by her.  I can understand why she wants to lose weight, my mom has struggled with obesity, diabetes and a shiiiit thyroid all of her life. I've seen her struggles and I've seen how some of the crap she's tried and how it's injured her.  It's a stupid, dangerous way to go and my mom is paying the price for it to this day health wise. She regrets it now. I just don't want other people to go through any of what my mom suffered.</div><div>

I'm not sure what to say to that post of zizibets...

I've never seen Jerseylicious or any of the House Wives or Jersey Shore.  Most of my reality show picks are competition based.

I agree, but I really think my younger sister bitched to mom about it and since her highness got whatever she wanted I got in trouble.  This was before I developed a backbone where my mom is concerned, so I took the password off.  Now I have no issue telling my mother what I really think, which is why I think she's mad at me right now.
  • I am crawling through the UO thread slowly and out of morbid curiousity, I googled the case Ricks came in talking about. I feel physically ill, truly. I almost got up to use the school bathroom to throw up. Oh my fucking god.

I almost felt sorry for her, and I understood her. I think she has an eating disorder... at the very least, she has disordered eating, which I can indentify with. I tried to survive on next to nothing in high school. My body image was so messed up (and still kind of is, but not as bad) and I couldn't bring myself to care that what I was doing was bad for me. Granted, she's an adult, so she should probably know better.

ETA - I have never had a diagnosed eating disorder, but I had extremely unhealthy habits to try to lose weight, similar to what Steffi is doing.

I stumbled across that a story a few years ago.  I understand what you mean.  Just thinking back to what I remember is horrible.  I don't understand people at all.

  • It is an infant abuse case from NM. I don't want to write anything out because it is so unbelievably awful and anyone who doesn't want to read it, shouldn't have to. Jesus Christ.

  • Yeah, please no CN.

Imagine the worst thing that anyone could ever do to an infant and you're probably on the right track.
  • People who do that are like the lowest of the low, to me. Child and animal abusers deserve the lowest ring in hell.

  • I was too lazy to search for it in the UO thread so I tried googling for it. Don't do that. You'll hate humanity. A ridic amount of different cases came up.
