    Haha,

If you had actually read my posts to completion, you would have seen "I think it makes perfect sense that infants should be exceptions to that rule, however, SOME people get offended when other kids are invited and their's are not."

That's all I said. I totally think infants are exceptions to the no kids at weddings rule.

  • Hilary, you're really just stupid.  That's all there is to it.  You started something, found out it was an unpopular opinion and backtracked so fast that your arguments hurt.
  • I flame JNIC for taking one sentence out of a slew of posts I made on a thread completely out of context and getting pissed off about it.

I would happily accept her flame if I had actually stated that "no kids = no kids 100% of the time even if they're two days old" was my personal opinion and not me playing devil's advocate for the OP. I suppose the way I worded THAT particular post could have been misconstrued, but only if you hadn't read every other word in that thread that I wrote. Oh well.

Next time, I will explicity state I am playing devil's advocate.

  • i also flame jnic for saying breastfeeding babies are the exception to the no kids rule. they're not, unless the b+g wishes them to be.

also, i have no recollection of stackeye being flamed. i thought she pretty much had a smooth entry.
  • Personally, if people want to exclude tiny breastfeeding infants, I think that's within their right. They just need to realize that makes it 99% likely the mother of said infant won't attend. If you're okay with that, go ahead. It's just when people biitch about their MOH carrying her 2 month old baby around all day when the bride wants her to leave it at home that I want to slap someone.
