You should just call and make up a work related reason for needing TK to get unblocked. lol. 

My work just recently made a new rule: No texting or being on personal websites during work time..or you're fired.

It's all ridiculous.

I think the last straw for my FI at his old job was when they blocked the whole internet, and he was the sucker who had to unblock sites when people made legitimate requests.  It was a hospital, so he was spending his days unblocking things like cdc.gov.

At my current job we have access to almost everything, because we work with websites all day long.   We're only banned from streaming things and from FB/Gmail/etc.  The first because it is death to bandwidth and the second because our security people are (reasonably, I will admit) afraid of viruses, etc.

I looked at a ton of aquamarine rings, actually.  I decided on a colored diamond instead (heh, there goes the idea that FI picked this out on his own) because I thought it would match a little bit better with the colors I wear.  I guess that's why most people go for colorless stones, they're easier to match with everything.

What does yours look like?  I'd love to see a picture.

Rings are so hard to photograph. :-) Those are probably the best two pics from when I first got it. I love it. Lucas and I are both born in March (our birthdays are two days apart) and I've always loved aquamarine. It's so clear you almost can't tell it's blue.

My job blocked a lot of websites including google, but then one day I tried typing Https://www.  and then the website.it worked. My job had blocked all the unsecured websites. I was able to get on a lot more websites than coworkers because of the https:// that my coworkers. 

My work unblocked google and a few other sites because it was making our job a lot harder afer a month of hearing us complaining.

When I worked for a bank, we had a quite a few sites blocked, and when I taught, there were quite a few more. The good news is, where I am now, there's pretty much open access to anything. There's apparently not even enough usage to crash it with streaming music, etc.

I'm getting spoiled. And I keep waiting for it to end...

That is horrible!  My current workplace blocks FB, Youtube, etc. but not the main internet.  However my last job did the same thing and blocked everything except for the work intranet and you could access google, but same as pp above you could not actually click on any of the sites that came up.

I feel for you and hope you find a new job soon so you can have the internet back.

That's crazy!!

I know what you mean katie - I work at GameStop and a lot of customers don't believe that we don't have internet either. I think it would be a good idea for us to have at least video game sites even if everything else is blocked.
