Night Time

Re: Night Time

  • I guess that's true Mica. They think she was probably dumped, and whoever had her previously didn't take very good care of her teeth-they're pretty worn down, and she's got some hip dysplasia. Someone also maced her before she was taken in, so I'm having to pay special attention to her eyes. She's really squinting one of them still.
  • I sitll have my ID with my maiden name. VA never took it from me when they sent me my new one. It doesn't expire until 2017. My passport expires 2015. So if I needed to travel I'll be ok.

  • beefy has hip dysplasia too - hence his swimming hydrotherapy :)

  • Thank you again, MUSU!  I'm so excited to see the rest of my pics now.

Lucky you got some of yours so quickly.  Did you post them yet? I've been here off and on the past week and was away on the honeymoon the 2 weeks before that. Love your sig pic.

</div><div>That makes me SO sad. :(

  • awww poor baby :( I bet she's happy to have you guys now
  • I don't think I heard, how did you find her Jill?
  • I would have kept traveling on my old passport (I've been pretty lazy about the name changing) but H was weirdly insistent that I change it.
  • Birdie, I have a photographer friend who has somehow become the go-to animal lady in my hometown. Anytime someone finds a dog, they contact her, and she posts them on FB. She's found every animal she's posted a home. The woman who had Maci found her running down the highway a few days after Christmas.
  • Tracy -- I AWed some yesterday -- I think the thread is on page 2 of the E board now. :)

  • My Costa Rica stamp isn't very pretty. If I can remember to send my passport back in the next few weeks, I could still get it for free. Then I would have an excuse to go BACK to CR...I'll need a new stamp, obviously.
  • I never found the little girl whippet that needed a new home. My email to the craigslist email was never returned. :( Back to square one. We are starting to actively look for a little whippet girl.
  • I am so happy that Maci has a new home with you Jill. that makes my heart fuzzy and all that. She is a lucky pup!

[QUOTE]Hi! MK:  Daphne is hard of hearing, but can speak normally.  She and Bay presented some awards at some show and she sounded normal. She just does a great job of sounding 'deaf'.  ALSO.  Pinning. You can change boards without repinning to the board. When you click on your pin, click the "Edit" button, and just change the board in there.  It changes board and doesn't repin on the main page!

That's what I've been doing for most of them Beanie, but if you want them pinned on multiple boards you have to repin them. I've edited hundreds of pins today and only repinned a handful. I wish there was a way to select multiple boards when you pin something.

  • Where did everyone go?

  • I'm here! I am making a blog about my experiences with HHT. I doubt anyone will read it, but it's mostly for me.
  • Hi, MK. I'm just waiting for dinner to be ready. We're having baked chicken with an apricot balsamic glaze and some maple roasted sweet potatoes.

I have not read the whole thread yet.
  • i still around.  trying to list things for sale online, but i'm being super lazy.

  • Special your dinner sounds delish.

So Lucas asked if we're doing anything for Valentine's Day. We've never done anything in the past. He said he saw some Valentine's things and thought he'd ask. Anyone doing anything for Valentine's Day.

</div><div>That sounds delicious. Do you have a recipe for the chicken? Send that dinner my way!

  • I doubt it MK. I'll probably cook something nicer than normal for dinner, but that's about it. I would love to get flowers delivered at work but I can't take deliveries at my office.
  • I think I'm going to lose my mind if our bedroom redecoration is not finished by this weekend. It's ridiculous.
  • It's a store-bought glaze. I bought it at Meijer. You could probably make your own with some balsamic vinegar, apricot preserves and some butter.
  • MK, we never really do anything for Valentine's Day. One year, H came over to my apartment for dinner. After the post-dinner banging, he rolled over and asked if I wanted to go bowling.

    Undecided

I'm sorry y'all have to deal with that but I'm sure people would read your blog. I think it's better sometimes to read about personal experiences than just looking up the disorder on Wikipedia or something, you know?
  • I would like to go to a little nicer restaurant here for Valentine's Day, but we'll see if H has to work. Our dating-versary is Valentine's Day, so we might try to make it special. H always gets me a new mug and candy.
  • TK shut down for me for a bit.  I'm making juice pops in my Zoku :)
  • Meg, what's a Zoku?
