Yeah, I'm a Sox fan, so I was never all up in the George Steinbrenner love.

But I do feel bad for his family.  Losing someone suddenly (I heard he died of a massive heart attack) is always really hard.

I'm a Yankees fan. I was BORN into it, okay?? We even tried to get my Dad's ashes scattered in Yankee stadium (no go). We met George once at a minor league game back when Daryl Strawberry was struggling to get back into the majors and he was surprisingly nice to us. I'm sorry he's gone.

I'll be over here in the corner ready for my beatings/ostracization.
