Re: Confessions

• I'm love/hate with motorcycles. I won't ride on a street bike, but I love dirt bikes. My dad used to race dirt bikes. I never got very good at it and was too scared to really go for it, so he bought me a quad, but I loved riding on the back of his dirt bike. Even just tooling around in the woods, we had to wear head to toe safety gear. My dad usually overreacts to things, but I think that was a solid decision.

While we're on the topic of things that shouldn't be street legal- can someone explain to me those jeeps without doors? Would you feel comfortable in this? I feel like it's sort of saying "come and get me, neck down paralysis."
• I don't understand those jeeps either, Mel. I would feel so weird driving without doors.

• Got super busy at work so I will be lame a contribute super late.

Bay, I would also like to kick her ass, and I would like it.

Also, NSYNC came to my school when I was in middle school. I was in love. I am not lying.
• We have 3. None are mine. I would only ever ride as a passenger, and only on the touring bike.
We have the above mentioned Kawasaki touring bike, a KTM street legal bike, and a KTM dirt bike. Can you tell what J's hobby is? Oh, and a new-to-him PRo Can-Am ATV. I'm sure I butchered the name, but yeah. It's yellow. The one I crashed was orange. And dirt colored.

And, like 6-8 bicycles. Seriously. Two or 3 road bikes, a couple of street (regular bikes, probably more), and my bike. A trailer, a truck, my truck/SUV, and the Miata.

We need a mini garage.

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
• Confession: I totally just turned the radio up and sand "Hold On" by Wikson Phillips at the top of my lungs.
• Whenever I see DD or DS, I always say Domestic Son or Daughter. I don't know why, it doesn't make sense.

I don't like Belk. They are more expensive than Penny's and their store setup is really weird. I prefer Dillards. My favorite place to shop though is Bealls Outlet. think Bealls is only in Florida, but I could be wrong. Their outlet stores are awesome, lots of discount prices.

H has a bike, but it needs some work and doesn't really run. It's needed work since I met him. My stepdad crashe don a bike, so nw my mom is terrified of them. Once he gets it running, we just won't tell her when we take a ride. But when we do, yes we will definitely both be wearing helmets.

I confess I am making plans to run away to the East Coast and join the circus. I haven't told FI yet, though my brother already has half the travel plans worked out.

[QUOTE]Upon further investigation, it was called Belk Lindsey, so it is spelled right. That is all. Except that, Express is NOT a bargain store. They have some good sales, but their new clothes prices are generally a bit above what I want to spend. Old Navy and Target are bargain stores.

Seriously. And where 90% of my clothes come from.

The anchor stores we have are Robinsons-May, Nordstrom, Macys, Khols, Bloomingdales maybe... I dunno. I think there's JC Penneys too. And Neiman Marcus at the snooty malls.

When I was a kid we had Bon Ton, Sears, JC Penney, Lord and Taylor, Kaufmans... and our local department store was AM&As, which I remember, but went bust in the 80s like so many other local department stores. Their flagship store was in downtown Buffalo and people used to look at their Christmas display windows. When they went out of business my dad was able to nab a wooden penguine (it's like 2 feet tall) from one of the displays that he brings out at Christmas now.

[QUOTE]I know I'm a little late to the party, but I get really annoyed when I see people on motorcycles in flip flops, shorts and no helmet. We get that all the time down here. I just keep thinking, "Enjoy that road rash!" Also, on the motorcycle issue, we always get people either weaving in or out of traffic or people double teaming you. I know that isn't what I mean (not that kind of double teaming lol), but they actually drive up next to me in my lane on my side trying to get into another lane. The sweetest day is when there was an undercover cop behind me and pulled him over. Okay, that's technically a rant, but whatever.

Lane splitting. It's actually legal in CA (the only state it's legal) and scary as hell. I guess motorcycle engines had a tendency to overheat in hot weather decades ago, so they've had the law in in place since the 40s. And now they haven't repealed it because of traffic. Seriously, with a motorcycle you can weave through all the standstill traffic and get where you need to go!

I'd be really afraid my purse would fall out. I tend to keep a bunch of things in my car, like library books and pens.
