Evening ladies, great day with Pete and Repeat.  We did the zoo and had steak, corn, and salt potatoes for dinner.  Then we had carrot cake for dessert.   Woot Woot,  I am old tomorrow, officially old!

For once the weather today here was beautiful.  We opened up our windows and the cat loved it.  I just wish it would rain, especially now that the city is on water restriction.

I just got back from the car place. I'm pretty hopeful that I will be driving a new to me car this time tomorrow! I am SO tired though and just want to go to bed but I have a birthday party to go to in an hour. I don't wanna. *pouts*

I think our next "vacation" is to TX for Christmas. I put vacation in quotes because we're driving, and well that's just hell. And we're visiting the IL's. I love them, but don't consider visiting them a vacation.

I don't like cupcakes at all... nothing about them is appetizing to me. I used to get bummed when people brought in cupcakes for their birthdays in elementary school because I couldn't eat them. Or, wouldn't. I prefered people who brought in cookies and brownies, lol.

I love cupcakes, but I hate when people bring desserts that are loaded with nuts.

I'm not allergic to nuts, but a lot of people are. I just think they're gross.

Omg, my sister is seriously pissing me off. I know this isn't any of my business but when it affects my niece and nephew, it's going to be my business. She and my BIL don't have any money. BIL had to call out of work the past two days because he didn't have gas to get there. My stupid ass sister just posted on FB that she just got back from Hobby Lobby. Thefuck? Your husband doesn't have gas money to get to work but you have money to go to hobby lobby? Yeah, I'm being judgey mcjudgerson.

Glo, I just pigged out on a fabulous tofurkey frozen pizza. Omg so amazing. And as far as cupcakes go: there is a great place 15 minutes away that I went to once with Bay and it was amazing. They do GF and vegan and weight watchers, not all the same cupcake, but still. Pretty rad place.

But I think your frustrations are valid. I hate when people complain about their financial situations but have no problem spending their money on luxury-type things.

A girl I know is complaining about being unemployed and only having a few dollars to her name, and her family members have offered a few odd jobs for her to do, and she won't take them up on it.

I judge that.

I would probably judge this too. I don't generally judge people spending a little bit of money, even in hard times, because sometimes you need to treat yourself. However, when you're literally so broke you can't afford gas to get to work? Yeah, you best not be spending a dime anywhere else.

The jerks at Comcast told me yesterday that although I had an appointment from 10-12pm yesterday, the order was guaranteed to be completed by SATURDAY.

After multiple phone calls to call and complain from H and myself, they were here at 4:30 yesterday.

Erin, Time Warner is annoying to say the least.  I think we are going to end up with our third box in like 5 months because this one has issues too and we randomly stop getting the channel information.
