That's messed up. I've flown American a few times, and I got a text message and email when they canceled/re-booked me due to a snowstorm.
  • We were also flyin AA for our HM too. Maybe they are just megapixels.

MuSu - I wasn't totally paying attention - who was the one who voted for her to stay?

Haha. I wondered what you meant to say. I figured it was an auto-correct fail.
  • Yes, I'd call the airline. That is quite a difference. Thank goodness you looked.

  • I was able to confirm the flight time online... I'll call tomorrow to double check, but that's so weird.

I seriously must have read something wrong somewhere.

  • Loops it was joe. But omg Britney's crisis of conscious was hilarious. Did they get to the part with boogies goodbye message? Fucking c0cky dinghole.
    image
  • OMG - MuSu... too funny - Janelle just called Boogie a douchebag and they silenced it out..
  • I leaned over to Tory and told her she didn't get to meet you on Saturday now, J, and she let out a really loud sigh. Lol.
    image
  • Hahaha yes loopy! I thought that was hilarious. She's not afraid to fight back. It's weird now though because everyone in the house more or less gets along. Boring.

  • Hey everyone. Just got home from work. My kid loves her new teacher, but is all bummed because she misses her friends. Poor kid.

Lizzie, how did your test go today? (sorry if you already said, I didn't read the thread)

[QUOTE]Okay, so the Rainbow presentation was 3 HOURS LONG!  That totally ruined my dinner plans, so we are reheating pizza from last night.  Boo. And?  The Rainbow was almost $3000!  WTF?

<div>Ugh. We got roped into one of those years ago and it took ALL EVENING. I think they purposely make it so dang long so you'll buy the damn thing just to get rid of them. Ummm, NO. Not for $3K. </div><div>
</div><div>Some girl came and knocked on our door the other day wanting to demo carpet cleaning. Thank God we have hardly any carpet. So then she's like,'What about upholstery?' Ummm, yeah. Our stuff is almost all leather. But thanks!</div><div>Gah. </div>

This is why I don't open the door if i'm not expecting someone.  Or, I used to not.  Now you can see in our living room windows from the front door.

  • That's annoying Holly.  We use my dad's cousin's time share weeks (got that?) when we go to Mexico every year, and we always have to sit through a time share presentation and tour.  The first few years were really long, but now my parents have been going for so many years, they have a guy they go see every year and he does the minimum and signs their slip that they went to we can get the 10% off of everything at the resort discount and go about our business.
  • That's awesome Lizzie! :)

  • Woohoo, Miss SmartyPants Lizzie! Nice work!

  • We had people trying to get us to buy meat off a truck once.  I told them we were vegetarians.  We're not...then my sister and I came up with The Ingenious Plan to Get Rid of Pesky Door-to-Door Salespeople.  She makes a loud noise in the other room and I "rush off to go help her with that."  Works pretty much every time.

Of course, Schwan's is awesome.  This way, I can open the door for him and for little girls wanting a dollar for their school chocolate bars but I can get rid of creeps.
  • And the GIrl Scouts with their cookies. We have the funniest little girl who always calls us up and then comes over. She give her spiel and you just want to buy ten boxes of every kind. She's a riot.

  • I want a new car.  I love my Highlander, but when I bought it I wasn't planning on driving as much as I drive.

Of course, those cookies are addictive.  And I should know, I sold them for many, many years.  And then I got old and dragged my sister with me.  People can't say no to cute blonde-haired blue-eyed little girls toting cookies.
