Do you use no-show socks/shoe liners for dress shoes?

And if so, what kind?

I got some but they're awful. I'll have to check the packaging but I think they're Hue brand. They keep coming off my heels and balling up down my toes. I mostly wear them to keep my shoes from rubbing blisters on my feet.

And yes, I realize this is an attire question but I don't care.

  • I wear the Hue ones too, and they suck. I haven't yet found a good brand -- they all pop off my heels.

I got some at Target that I absolutely despise and haven't worn any since. I just put liners in the bottom of my ballet flats and change them when they start to get stinky.

  • If they didn't show I'd love it. I've never tried though. Try Vera Wang at Kohls. I love them. They come in two different sizes, two or three different fabrics, and as black, white, or beige.
  • Thanks for the recs! I was looking at both Apt 9 and vera Wang online. I may just run to Kohl's at lunch, I don't know if I can take much more of this!
  • I buy the cotton ones from Walmart and wear them a few times a week. You may want to look into those also!

  • I wear them with flats and pumps. I bought the merona brand ones from target in cotton. I have then in black and beige. I bought the nylon ones by accident they sucked really bad.
  • Ditto the Merona cotton ones- they are way better than the nylon.

I usually just use the toe-only ones. They give a little cushion in the toes too, which i like. Or sometimes, i just wear straight up socks. That's how i roll.
  • I just put a blister cover on my heels when I get new flats and wait for them to be broken in. I don't usually wear anything else on my feet with flats, unless I'm wearing tights. My feet have gotten used to this and I only get blisters when I wear different shoes.

  • I don't have a problem with them staying on my feet, but they always show. It's entirely possible I'm doing it wrong.
  • I find ballet flats rub my heels raw always. I put in the little foam heel guards and that completely solves the problem.

Try the Vera Wang since they come in two sizes. I wear a 7, buy the smaller size, and they don't show with ballet flats. They just cover my toes and heel but don't come up on the sides of the foot at all. They stay on beautifully. I've tried other brands and never had success.

[QUOTE]I got some at Kohls and they are decent so far. They are the Apt. 9 brand and have a little bit of rubber-ish material on the inside of the heel so they don't slip down. http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/zbrandskiosk/handbagsaccessories/apt9/hosiery/PRD~350685/apt+9+3pk+Cotton+Liner+Socks.jsp

I wear these too and really like them.
  • I got mine from Payless, and I love them. They dont slip off my heels at all, and they're usually like 3 pair for $10.

  • I wear the same ones at MilkDuds and JoanE from Kohl's. They work great!

I love the ones with the heel pad and the toe pad, but they have a couple of different ones.
