My great uncle is in the baseball hall of fame and holds the world record for most doubles hit during a World Series.  Pretty random, right?

2. Married, engaged, NEY?  Married

3. How long have you/did you lurk before posting?  I don't remember-I've been here a while, but still mostly lurk, probably a few months before I ever posted

4. If you are coming out of the Knot Closet today, why'd ya wait so long? I usually don't have much to add, or if I find that I have something to add, the thread is old.  But I've been trying to participate more!

5. Style of humor?  Depends on the day, although I'm always a fan of sarcasm.  I can appreciate almost all kinds of humor though.

6. Your number 1 talent. Hidden or knot. (Ha, get it? Knot? Word games)  I can make some mean baked goods.  I once had a friend ask me if my sugar cookies were profession, when in fact I made and decorated them myself. I was pleased.

ETA: 7. Tom Hanks is awesome (as is his son)

Just something.  I really love Judge Judy and kind of want to grow up to be her (this is the only thing I can think of b/c I'm watching JJ right now).

3. How long have you/did you lurk before posting?  I don't know, I've been lurking for a long time.  That makes me sound creepy.

4. If you are coming out of the Knot Closet today, why'd ya wait so long?  I kind of came out of the closet last week.  I just don't comment when everyone else has already said what I want to say, which has usually happened by the time I read posts.

5. Style of humor?  Sarcastic, dry.  Shaun of the Dead is one of my favorite movies ever.

6. Your number 1 talent. Hidden or knot. (Ha, get it? Knot? Word games)  My fingers are double jointed?  I don't think that's particularly a talent though.

Nah, just sort feel on the fringes. Hard to jump in when you don't know people and see people having a good time.  I am totally the new girl at the back of the gym at the 8th grade dance.

My brother was in EOD in the Air Force (he blew up bombs) and then worked on the bomb squad of the secret service for the first Bush administration. He once royally pissed of Barb Bush. He was supposed to be in the part of the Pentagon that got hit on 9/11 but his meeting had been rescheduled.

4. If you are coming out of the Knot Closet today, why'd ya wait so long?  Came out a few weeks ago.  I have a lull in wedding planning right now, so I ended up going to the community pages as my current form of procrastination and decided that I like it here.

5. Style of humor?  Sarcastic.  It's completely impossible to offend me....  or if it is, I haven't figured out how yet.

6. Your number 1 talent. Hidden or knot. (Ha, get it? Knot? Word games)  I'm about as good of a musician as one can be without actually being a professional musician.  (Piano accompanist, vocalist, and percussionist, and I taught piano lessons for quite a few years).

EDIT:  7.  I enjoyed Tom Hanks back in the 90's, but honestly he's a little old and creepy now.  His acting career did, however, start in Cleveland.  Holla!
