I just ate....

2»

Re: I just ate....

  • Thanks, guys. I now want chocolate covered digestives, chocolate fingers, jelly babies and Walkers salt and vinegar crisps. Shame then that I'm not going to England for 7 more months.
  • I thought chocolate digestives were laxatives or something.  I was like "Whoa!   I think this is a cry for help."  So I'm glad you clarified.  I was Joey Lawrence level worried.

  • My first thought was that it was going to say "a baby" when I opened this thread. Seriously.

  • Chocolate digestives might be one of the worst-named products ever.  Marketing fail.

I was assuming laxatives or something too.

[QUOTE]I really want baked salt and vinegar chips now, but I don't feel like going to store.   If it makes you feel any better, I just ate an entire huge bag of apple slices.  Probably the equivalent of 4 apples.  That's what I get for mindlessly eating while knotting.

Well, you'll be the opposite of backed up!
  • Ok this thread made me want two things:

    Hob Nobs
A glass of milk to dip them in

But I just wolfed down WAY too much food at lunch and look like I'm pregnant now or something with this swollen belly. Sexay.

We used to eat rice cakes with peanut butter on them. It helped to counteract the dryness factor.

  • Haha very true Georgia.  Hmmm, maybe that's my secret for winning the weight loss challenge....

  • Haha, they are really fiber-y biscuits, so they are digestive in that sense. They've been around forever though, so I imagine they'd have a slighly sexier name if they were launched today.
  • Bubba that sounds like it would make the dryness worse, not better.

  • Omg, HobNobs. Added to my list of things I am getting my dad to bring me in October because I just remembered he's probably coming then which means I don't have to wait til December. I just finished the Ribena he brought for me in March. How did a thread about rice cakes turn into the English food products thread?
  • That makes sense then Emily.  I love FIber One granola bars and think they are delicious.  The word fiber in the title just makes me feel like an old lady though.

  • Haha dnb! It did sort of make the whole concoction turn paste-like while chewing it.

  • Yeah, that's what I was thinking, dnb.  I need a drink whenever I eat something peanut-buttery.

And now I want peanut butter cups.

Aw Bubs has a food baby!

I love the mini rice cakes. They don't fit into the meal plan now though.

  • I'd be straight up embarassed to say I ate a digestive biscuit.  Or a digestive anything.  British people are wierd.
