Really Early Evening Thread

What's up?

I have an hour left at work and I'm itching to get done. Actually, I'm really just itching to get the baby to bed. I think I'm supposed to start her bedtime routine at 6. I think I'm going to head to the gym after work. It's be crowded at that time, but it's literally 2 minutes from work, so might as well just get it out of the way.

• 28 minutes to quitting time. I have a bear of a headache. I think FI can cook or buy pizza for dinner.

• Rach, 2 kids. The older one is really easy though. For me, at least. From what I understand, she's more of a pain in the butt for her parents.
That's what I thought. I thought of you Saturday when we watched our niece for a few hours. It was terrifying. Granted, she's only like 11 months old, but still.
Posted by rachers1017
Haha why was it terrifying? These girls are 4 months and 21 months. Babies and toddlers are my specialty. I'm kind of awkward with older kids sometimes... I don't always know what to talk to them about.

How old are they? I think other people's children count as exercise, if you don't really want to make it to the gym. (I don't exercise at all, and adore my nieces and nephews, but they exhaust 'Aunt Chocolate' !) Then again, if you enjoy the gym...enjoy the gym!

ETA see the ages nvm

• Hey all. I'm debating whether my stomach feels up to eating something more exciting than the rice and toast I had earlier. Wtf is up with my sudden stomach problems this summer. 6 seems sooo early for bed, even for a baby. Heh.

• Hey ladies.  I'm about to get some dinner together soon and just relaxing now.  I did a bunch of stuff around the house today and now am just waiting for some good tv tonight.

• One more hour to go. I am so ready to take a nap.

We have some hamburger buns that we have to use but I don't know what I want. I don't eat beef, but I can't decide from either a quinoa burger, black bean burger, or a chicken pesto burger. OH MY LIFE IS SO HARD.

I'm jealous.
I have about 30 minutes left of work. I started to leave at 4 since I got here about 7....but then I didn't. Today has been a bear of a day. *sigh*

I've been having stomach issues the past few months too. WTF. I don't get it. I've never had a problem before.
• Musu, I think she actually goes to sleep around 7, but she gets in her pjs and has a bottle at 6. Are you feeling any better than earlier?
imageWedding Countdown Ticker
• Tonight I work till 7 so I have 2hrs 20mins left! Hope it goes quick. Got a few more jobs to do and a few people to call so hopefully that helps the time go faster.
• Hey yall,
I just got home from work. I have the cramps from hell which makes me think the PID has returned. Awesome. So I bought wine and pizza because I don't feel like doing sh*t tonight.

6 does seem early, even for a baby.
• I just got done doing my DIY unitiy candle.  I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

I don't know why the photo is sideways, but this is what it looks like.

I need to get on the thank you notes for the shower I had this weekend.  I got more RSVPs in today, and I should get some answers from my dad about who from his work is coming.  I'm still waiting on some FB message replies.

My MOH is gonna be here this weekend though!  I'm so excited :)!

Total reading fail and thought you had said beer of a headache. I'm dumb or maybe it is just because I just finished reading the thread with the MOH who got wild at a wild party.

• evening.

can I vent for a second?

I went to my doctors today.  She told me I had to go have day surgery for my issue.  I called H and told him I had to go have surgery and I would see him when he got home from work.  He called me when he got out and asked how it went.  I told him I was really sore and would tell him all about it when he got home.

He came home, and barely said hi to me.  He changed, got a snack, turned on his laptop and sat down in his recliner.  About 5-10 minutes later, he looked over to me and said "what did the doctors say?"  At this point I had tears in my eyes...part from the pain of the surgery and part from being hurt that he wasn't being very caring.  I told him how the surgery went, and that I was in a lot of pain.  His response was to angrily say "didn't they give you anything for the pain?"

aaaaaand that is all he has said to me since he got home 45 minutes ago.  I can't get comfortable, I am in pain, and right now my heart hurts :(
• I tried to get h to take me out to dinner since I've had an exciting day. He didn't go for it. But we're going to the Verizon store to look at a new phone for me, so that'll be fun.

• Hockey, want me to nutpunch him for you?  Tell him a stranger on the internet says he's being a fuccking twat.
• Musu, how's your shoulder doing? Has PT helped at all?

Hockey, I'd be upset too that he wasn't being more nurturing. I could totally see FI acting that way and not even realizing he was being hurtful. Your H probably doesn't realize either, because men can be so dense, but still, not cool. Also, sorry you're in pain. I hope you feel better soon!

ohh get better soon! I know how you feel about H, the other night out of no where I felt like I got kicked in the ribs and I started crying and my FI just looked at me and turned back to the tv. It was so strange.
• Oh my goodness Hockey, I just want to give you a hug! But a gentle one because you just had surgery. I'm sorry your H isn't being more caring. Is it possible that he sounded angry about the pain meds because he was annoyed/felt they should have taken better care of you?
• Hockey - I'm sorry =-(

• Wow Hockey that sounds rough. I am sort of a baby so if H wasn't being cute and nice to me when I had the sniffles I would be upset.  I am pretty sure I would be in ultra biiitch mode if he acted like that after I just HAD A SURGERY.

I do agree with Angel though, it's possible he really just doesn't realize he is being a brat. I know I can be a little grumpy RIGHT when I get home. I always need like 5-10 minutes just by myself with no talking.
• Feel better soon Hockey!

Do you have any pillows nearby? Throw one at H. Even if you miss you'll probably feel better.

• Angel, is the baby warming up to you at all?

Hockey, I'd be hurt too.  We'd all bring you fluffy pillows and ice cream if we could.

Texas, that turned out great!

I've got 2 hours left of work and because of some fumes from work they're doing down the hallway, that's about 2 hours too many.

• It's our one month today s we are doing a 5 course meal. I've done 2 so far and one is just salad so thatll be quick, but I have to wait for H to get home before I do everything else.
