[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Anyone else staying in tonight? : We had drinks and a bit of food at this billiards club.  He whooped my butt every game of pool we played.  Then we went to a brewery to get another beer.  Needless to say, I did not drive home 3.5 hours that night.  I left the next morning.

Oooh! Nice. I am terrible at pool.
How is the 3.5 hour drive? Workable?

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Anyone else staying in tonight? : I can see that. We'll probably be in this area the rest of our lives. But the apartment isn't that temporary, because we have no idea when we'll be house buying. And I'm not putting off buying nice stuff just because an apartment is temporary.

That makes sense. And in any case, I'd be pissed if my MIL tried to tell me what to spend my own money on.
  • What is the oil cleanse thing?

[QUOTE]TR, I think doing it every day is best.  I did it about two days on, one day off for awhile, and not much happened....but when I started doing it every day, my skin got worse for a bit, and then SO much better.  If you use harsh cleansers in between, you're kind of working against what the oil is doing.  Erin, one of my kids had a really rough day (like, Sheriff escorting him out of the school rough) while I was there to see him, and I did far too much paperwork and drove too much.

It's my first less than awesome day (besides boring training, but that wasn't really BAD, just boring!) so far, though, so I'm ok with that!

That was basically my logic for starting to upgrade all of my college dishes/towels/pots and pans/etc.
  • I want to go back to Crater Lake.  Can I go with him?  Haha.

  • I would totally do that.  We couldn't do much of anything when we were there :(

I will totally let you know if we go back!

  • Chrissy, I thought he was looking at jobs close to where you live too?
  • What's Crater Lake? So I have a class of 6-11 year olds tomorrow morning. I chose the final scene of Midsummer Nights dream to work on. Too ambitious? Some of themhave been in my acting classes before, others in other acting classes. We will have 6 classes to do it. I really hope we can!

Maybe I'll try it every night for awhile.  I still feel like I need to wash my face in the morning, though :(  Is it ok if I use a little Cetaphil in the mornings?

  • I guess the solution is to move to WA. ;)
  • Ah gotcha. Yea, owning a house definitely makes it harder to move whenever you want to relocate.
  • Aw J :( I bet that was rough.

  • Houses are a pain when you want to relocate.  Argh.
  • Nicki...

Crater Lake!  It's a gorgeous caldera and all the water is rain and snow melt.  And it's deep, and the water looks purple.  And it's fantastic.

  • TR, I use Cetaphil on the mornings I work out.  I think it's gentle enough to not really counteract the oil.

  • That. Looks. Amazing. I can't imagine living in a place where roads are closed all winter. It's bad enough when roads close for a few hours during snowfall here!

  • We were at Crater Lake in the middle of June, and all the roads there were still closed and there was still 10 feet of snow on the ground.  Stupid snow.

  • That looks gorgeous.  I'm putting it on my list :).

Fact.  I couldn't get good pictures of any of my places out there.

Man, I wish CT was awesome.  Don't get me wrong, I want to stay here until I'm done with classes, but after that, the hell with it.

  • Thanks for the link TR.  I might have to try that out.  I really am tempted to do it now but definitely don't feel like going to the store for oil.

<div>yw :)  it took me a couple stores to find castor oil, ended up getting it at Walgreens.  That was a little embarassing since it's usually used as a laxative, haha.</div>
