On the way back I ditched the 290 and went on Roosevelt - it was quite the experience but not as horrible traffic wise.  I also hate suburb traffic - too many soccer mom driving SUVs through intersections for me to deal with.

Yes, I live out here now.  Commute from Elgin to Oakbrook everyday for work.  I do not like.  I want to move, but since our house is worth about $100K less than what we paid for it, at the moment we are stuck here :)

My neighbors (who I don't know) appear to be having a BBQ.  The question is, do I:

1.  Crash

2.  Open a bottle of wine.

3.  Open a bottle of wine & crash.  

FI is still at work, selling a car (yay!) and I am bored.  Thankfully FMIL is nowhere to be found.  She did, however, accidentally lock one of my cats in the guest room while everyone was gone all day.  Poor Fatty.

Working like crazy and spending every spare moment trying to prettify our yard.  We've gotten a lot of edging, rock and flowers in already this year. 

Although, I'm fibbing.  Not "every spare moment" was spent that way.  I may have used a few moments for a bit of golfing.

Just learning.  It's pretty darn fun!  I use to just drive the cart to supervise the bottled refreshments.   I won a free hour with a pro and  i may be hooked.  Now to just learn how not to supremely suck at the sport.

A friend of mine just moved to your neck of the woods.

I love golfing, but I hate putting. I have no patience whatsoever.  My Dad makes custom putter, too.  Go figure.  

I do enjoy a trip to the driving range.

You should move to Texas if warm weather works for your mood.  It was 90 today.  It was up to 95 last week.
