TTD location ideas

DH just surprised me with a trash the dress photo session this Sunday.  I haven't had too much time to think this through, so would love some ideas on best locations in the city to do this.  I don't really plan on "trashing" it per se, just getting some cool artistic type shots.  Of course, if the whim hits me, maybe I could jump in some water!

For some background, we currently live in London, but were in New York - got married at Central Park boathouse and did our e-pics in Washington Square and Times Square.  I'm not opposed to going back to any of those.  I've heard about the Highline, which opened after we left - would that be good?

I love the Highline! There are so many great spots there to take pictures. There is a huge window in one spot where you are above the cars and looking down(PIP). During certain times of day all you see are taxis on the road below and its a really cool sight.

The highline is a great idea, but isn't very "trashy"...around the meat packing district (by the highline) there are plenty of old building with cobblestone streets still.  There should be some of the frames of the actual meat distributors and that can be pretty trashy.

If not, you could always do something on the Bowery on the Lower East Side...there are plenty of trashy looking things there.

Another cool non-trashy photo would be at the flatline building on 23rd street...right by madison park!  That always photographs gorgeous.

The Highline is gorgeous and very artsy looking. Or what about the Brooklyn Bridge?

On a separate note, esuvak, you went to Singita Boulders on your honeymoon right? My FI and I are going there as well! We're basically wedding twins, lol--both Boathouse brides and going to the same place for honeymoon as well! I read the review in your bio, and we're SO excited about it!

<div>OMG, Singita Boulders is absolutely fabulous!!  I wish we could go back there every year.  It will be such an incredible experience.  Funny story - while we were at Singita, we actually met two other couples on their honeymoon.  Both from NYC.  And one that had gotten married at the Boathouse the week before us!  Crazy small world sometimes!  Enjoy it.</div><div>
