Yeah, so this is WR but not ER, but I figure this is one of the best boards for finding past brides instead of planning brides.
I need to order a Mori Lee BM dress for a wedding I'm in this summer, and I don't want to spend a fortune on alterations. (Last time I had a dress altered here, I just had it hemmed and the straps taken in; it cost me $100!)
So I'm curious about how the Mori Lee sizes run?
I tend to wear a pretty standard retail size 4, and I've looked at the sizing chart which shows the measurements corresponding to a 6. That aligns with the old "BM dress sizes are smaller" addage. However, back in the day, the BMs in my wedding all ordered their After Six dresses by the size chart and they all came back huge -- one or two full sizes too big!
If you've had any experience with Mori Lee dresses, did they run true to retail sizing? True to the sizing chart? None of the above? (I'm not sure I'll be able to find much to try on locally, so I'll probably be ordering the dress online from the US)
