Yeah that potato and ship one is just wierd.  I'm assuming it was a special order that has some meaning for the couple.  It's cute, but makes no sense to me.

Vowels.  That's funny because I"m on my third glass of wine.

I wanted just the initial for my new last name.  My mother threw a hissy fit because she thought that would honor H's family too much.  Thus - flowers on top of my cake.

The only program with the monogram cake toppers is that I prefer the three letter monograms, but FI's nickname consists of initials and if you switched out first name initials around, it would just look like FI's monogram on the cake.

ETA: I'm a little tipsy, so that didn't entirely make sense. My first name has the same letter as FI's middle name, so it's really close to his monogram.

Wow.  Wedding planning can make people crazy sometimes.  The single initial cake-topper is really common, and I like it.  I'm not changing my name though, so it won't work for me.  So I'll also just have flowers.

Yeah, my mother was a bit of a momzilla.  She threw more than her share of hissy fits.  I'm glad the wedding was behind me.  Now all I have to look forward to is what kind of fit she'll throw if I'm ever pregnant.

My family threw fits because we didn't take any of their advice or ideas for our wedding. We knew what we wanted and the things they wanted weren't anywhere near our ideas.
