Hair texturizing spray/product?

Can anyone recommend a good texturing product for straight/fine hair?  I think I bought some of that Bumble & Bumble Sea Salt spray years ago, but I don't know if they make that anymore.

Our apt doesn't have central air and these past two days have taught me that blowdrying and curling my hair in the summer just is NOT going to happen, but I need to have some kind of texture in my hair to let it air dry.

Please help me! :)  TIA ladies!

  • ooh I like the bumble and bumble product - i'm pretty sure they still make it.

Otherwise - I use Big Sexy Hair volumizer...
  • I'm really sad that it's summer where you are.

I'll be golfing tonight in sprinkles and 45 degree weather.

    Yay.

  • A bad weather day of golfing is still better than a good weather day elsewhere, no?  Maybe not, I don't really golf so I don't know.  I get bored after I drive.  That's why I like the range.

It went from 44 degrees to 82 degrees in one day.  Not.  Cool.  But I think we're going back to mid 60's by the weekend.

  • Have you tried Fekkai?

It's expensive but you can get it on Ulta discounted
  • I have really fine hair and I use the Big Sexy Hair texturizing powder.  It has worked really great and I finally have volume!

  • CHI makes an awesome texturizing mouse. A little expensive at salons, but ULTA usually has it on sale! And i feel you, before i cut all my hair off, i'd leave it frizzy and curly most days, I am not sure if I live in PA, or FL!

  • I make my own salt spray.

I think it's like a teaspoon of sea salt for every 4 ounces of water.  I add to that a teeny bit of conditioner, a few drops of argan oil, and a few drops of liquid hair gel (the one I use is Aveda Confixor).

Put in a spray bottle and shake ... voila!  It gives me really pretty waves for pennies.

  • MrsB - for me (what I'm hoping anyway) it just kind of makes my hair a little wavy and makes it a little thicker, like when I let it airdry after being in the ocean.
