I'm going to golf and watch football, and that's just gonna be about that. And it's gonna be great.

I'm only working two days next week. go me.

Morning.

H and I were looking at new bathroom fixtures and now I'm all pouty because I can't get the ones I like (oil rubbed bronze).  Can I not get them because H doesn't like them, nope. Is it the price, nope.  It's becuase of the humidity in the air up here. If the finish gets scratched and moisture gets into the finish, it will peel off. 

Wohoo for 75% humidity in the house!

Oh and I started my new job today.  A little bit of my soul died with every minute that I was there.  So yeah, I'm about to jump in the shower, pour a stiff azz drink and call it a day.

We're probably just hanging round the house today.  I was feeling a bit under the weather yesterday but feel better today.  Plus, we got to watch the Mich/ND game thanks to a couple of friends who streamed it live for us on Skype.  Awweeesome!

Saturday was busy for us!  FI had his first HS band competition today (he's a HS band director), so I spent the morning antiquing with my mom to find some mason jars and other decorations for the wedding, drove out to see his band perform, then came back for a surprise birthday party which had an Indiana/Kipling theme!

Today, we've got Sunday school, church, hopefully time for a nice long nap, church picnic, then a skype chat with our photographer (who lives 3 hours away from us) to finalize our contract and find a date to do engagement photos.  Woot!

in 2007 the start to the Sydney Hobart Race wasn't telecast on the internet (remedied in 2008), so since H was in OZ at the time, he turned the web cam to the TV so I could watch the start live.  And he still wanted to marry me even after finding out how much of a geek I was...

Good morning.  I did almost nothing yesterday (we all need those days) besides have my hair and make-up trial done.  I let FI take my camera white water rafting with him for the weekend so I don't have pictures.  Today I'm going to work out and then go to work - double shift today...

Good morning everyone.  I'm getting ready to go to my moms house because I have Chicago family in town today.  We're going to have a cook out. 

Oh - and I made THE BEST cheeseburger of all cheeseburgers yesterday......I think I need to submit it somewhere I swear.  It was so good.

I know - I'm really scared that he won't stay healthy.  Especially because he does SO much every play.

I got my ring and then I got my Jennings jersey - in the same day.  It happens.

I hope you can understand.  I grew up in Michigan - I have issues with professional football team loyalties and depression.

yay so we were neighbors (sorta).   St. Joseph was in my school's conference for sports.  I was so happy to be back in Michigan last weekend - we went to Isle Royale.  Its kind of like Minnesota/Michigan/Canada.

I've actually never been to Isle Royale, but I miss Michigan like whoa.  It's so hilarious because... it's Michigan.  Like, really??  But there's something about it.  I miss our little home and our friends and our lives there.  I miss the lake and the weather- the proximity to Chicago.... Sigh.
