Does any one have info on Battery Gardens in NYC?  I'm wondering about off peak prices (Nov-April), daytime and Fridays/Sundays ok.

    Getting married there on December 4th.. the only difference in pricing between Sat night and Sunday day was that we had to guarantee a certain number of people.  If we pushed to Jan, they would have taken off another good chunk of money.

    It's a beautiful room!  PM me if you want exact pricing.

    I just joined the knot this morning.... But agree, it is georgous, we were looking at it but it was already booked for our day. The view is amazing. I have been there for work receptions and the food is not  awesome but it is very decent. The staff is really great keeping " crashers " out Note when I was there they had severial events going on at once, I did not know whos party was whos somtimes.

    We haven't had our tasting yet, so i guess we'll find out.

    Because we're a Saturday night, I think we're the only event going on.
    The rehearsal is the day before and we have to scurry out because of another event.

     I got married there a year ago and it was amazing.  I didn't ask about pricing for other nights (just Saturday) but the  person I worked with was very accommodating on price.  We were able to negotiation down the cost per person and the minimum required.  But this was also because it was Rosh Hashanna.

    WORST VENUE - my wedding here was canceled due to Hurricane Irene and after many phone calls they agreed to refund some of my money (which they are required to do as it was written in the contract) and now, three weeks later I have received nothing and they have not answered one email or phone call yet.
