I'm at home, as I work for one of those companies Salt and betrothed wish they worked for I have a long to-do list and no real motivation to do any of it. Taking down the tree? Blah. Cleaning bathrooms? Blah. Putting away clothes? Super blah. Don't even really feel like playing Super Mario Wii.

Morning, everyone.  I'm here at work...nobody else is, though.  There are maybe 4 people here in an office that's probably 20ish people.  It's dead.

I'm still on a high from the most excellent Crimmus ever.  (points to Ivy's gift thread)

Yeah, there are like 3 of us in this morning.  I definitely should have stayed home and worked from there   I'm pretty sure today is the only day this week I could have gotten away with it.

Morning, ladies! Salt and Betrothed, if you worked in the public schools, you would get last week and this week off. Your pay would be forshit, but you would get the time off.

Cew, my brother and his wife took their 6 year old to see Avatar, and he LOVED it. They all did. My daughters, ages 8 and 11, didn't want to see it. It is really intense, so if Ben likes intense movies, he should be fine. My younger daughter is pretty much a wimp when it comes to movies, so she went and saw the new Chipmunks movie. My mom and SIL took one for the team and took all 4 kids.

I'm enjoying a cup of coffee and waiting for the rest of the house to wake up. This is undoubtedly my favorite part of the day.

My friend works for my city's public school system.  She was owed something like 3 months back pay and they were trying to tell her they'd make up for it by adding a few dollars to each paycheck from now until June.  I can't say I blamed her when she was rip-roaring pissed about it.  Thankfully she got the back pay before the end of the semester, but that type of hassle is so not worth the extra vacation.

I'm here and at work.  I think I'm the only one in my suite.  It's cool though.  I'm wearing my new purple sweater and black shoes.  I feel cute!  haha Too bad no one's here to see me!

I'm here, hoping that nobody comes by to ask me to do anything all day. We're probably at about 30% capacity, so I can't imagine anything urgent happening.

I'm at work fielding family phone calls. Dad's in for his scans today to see how the chemo is progressing so I'm just a big ball of worry. I'm also in a foul mood because everyone is in today and everyone is in a really pissy mood about it. This place is just oozing "unhappy" right now.

We move this weekend tho, so I couldn't be happier about that!!! Can't wait to curl up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate and watch all 6 harry potter movies with a group of my girlfriends (don't judge me, this is our house warming party haha). Then we're having a cocktail party that night for the rest of the non harry potterers hehe
