Heyy ladies. I thought I would post this on the New York board because both of these photographers are NY photographers, but I'm getting married in Philly. So I love, love love love, love Christian Oth. Who doesn't? But like most brides he's definitely not within my budget. So, I set out to find someone who has the same sort of style, eye for creativity, is within my budget, and general over-all same sort of look. Okay, so he's definitely not as good, but hopefully someone will agree with me when I say I think he's comparable? He's Spencer Lum of 5 West Studios (who I don't see mentioned on these boards often...) and you can view a good example of his work here:

I am going for photojournalistic, documentary, and epic. I am SO picky about photography it's not even funny. I'm also considering a Philly photographer, but I think his style is pretty different (a little more polished) and I am having a hard time trying to decide what sort of style I should go with. Ahhh! Someone please share their opinion?? Or recommend someone I haven't heard of yet? I would try Christian's other photographers but I have a feeling that 2 shooters from that group will go way over my budget, and I really think it's in my best interest to have two shooters. Thanks so much,
