I think I'd like a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They're a good size for the limited space we'll probably have and they're born to be lap dogs.

Angel - it's not that he creeps me out. But he's mean as anything and he randomly shrieks at the top of his lungs. Also when we let him out of his cage to clean it he ALWYAS flies straight for my head.

Ugh, I am totally regretting that blizzard. I have about a month to get into beach ready shape and that's doable if I'd just top eating like a hippopotamus. Also, I wish TK had spell check so I didn't have to google words like hippopotamus.

They do have a spell check Angel - you just have to actually click on it.

Thanks! I was tired of my old one and I'll probably eventually get tired of this one... 8 months is a long time, haha. I'm also tired of my sig already, but I don't have much in the way of good pictures to put on there, so I'll probably keep it for now. I have some that I look good in and FI looks awful and vice versa, but very few of us both looking decent.

I'm listening in on my dad help my brother edit and write an appeals letter for a college he wants to go to. I keep interjecting and for once my dad is agreeing with what I'M saying. Makes me feel like my education is finally getting some use when my super writer dad is liking my suggestions, haha.

Is it really bad that I have the overwhelming desire to do something very childish right now?

My friend says she asked off for my bridal shower but decided to go ahead and work because she's already going to take the day of my wedding off and its "too much". She works retail. Yes, she generally works Sundays but she's not the only one that can. Now she's been posting every day about seeing the Avengers on Friday (which, come to find out, she asked off for AFTER she knew the date of my shower). Every day this week she says something about it. Right now on FB she posted "Avengers tomorrow! Getting excited!" 

I really want to put "Getting excited about the shower Sunday. Can't wait to see all my best friends and family : )"

I won't. But I want to.

I mean, you probably shouldn't, but I probably would. I'm all about the passive aggressive facebook status, although they are none too pupular round these parts. I'd be pissed though, the movie will be out for awhile, you only get one shower.

I'm not sure... and it's with everything. Between college and law school, he got his CSCS, which is apparently the highest fitness/personal training certification you can get, and instead of taking his workout advice, his mom would ask other people at the Y with lower certifications than him. They don't listen when he gives law advice either. Not like, legal advice that they should act on, but he might talk to them about something in the context of law and they blow him off. I feel sad for him because it really hurts his feelings.

How much can you look up and interpret with laws, Holly? I'm always curious the extent of what paralegals can do but I don't know much about it. 

I don't get it, Poke...is your shower on Sunday and she is going to a movie on Friday? So her movie isn't the same day as your shower?

Honestly, I'm not big on TK party line of, "All your bridesmaids have to do is buy the dress and show up." I mean, sure, that's all they HAVE to do, but IMO, good bridesmaids do more... such as attend your shower when it's possible, and in this case, it definitely is.
